This was our first hotel in Tokyo (ever) and what a hotel it is. We were part of a group of 35 arriving at the same time but rooms had been allocated prior to arrival and “keys” prepared so the whole process was easy. Rooms were fantastic – clean and bright. The only comment we would make is that, in this age of conserving resources, the bath tub (with perfectly good shower over) should be removed and replaced with a walk-in shower. Some of the more mature in years people in our group may have found getting in and out of the tub a little tricky as it was quite high. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel with easy access. The provision of tea/coffee ingredients was a little sparse and there was no English Breakfast tea! Go prepared – we did – and with milk sticks! The whole building was spotless and the staff dressed immaculately. A significant number of staff spoke English to a greater or lesser degree but all were very helpful. Breakfast was a buffet – beware there is a queuing system for entry to allow a smooth flow at the various food bars. Once again, no English Breakfast tea and no cold milk by the coffee/hot water machines – find the cereals for that! Japanese as well as western food was available and in plentiful supply. Chop-sticks and knives/forks were available. Check out was simple even the machine was in English or Japanese! Would we return – if we went back to Tokyo, it would be a serious contender. Our trip’s brochure said we would be staying in a mixture of 3 and 4 star hotels. This is certainly an hotel in the upper range of a 4 star hotel.

“Comfortable but expensive”

Like all hotels in Tokyo, it is expensive. Rooms are well sized and appointed (but not so new). Note in breakfasts: the two buffet breakfasts are ok but very busy. Like all hotels in Tokyo, it is expensive. Rooms are well sized and appointed (but not so new). Note in breakfasts: the two buffet breakfasts are ok but very busy. I would highly recommend the Sushi breakfast on the 30th floor. Also, even though this hotel is expensive, you still have to pay for the gym or pool (most room tariffs )

I always stay in this hotel and it is still good, but after experiencing a better one, I wonder if the beds and sheets shouldn't be more comfortable considering the price of a Rainbow Bridge - View room. On the other hand, the experience of staying in Daiba and walking in the beach that is close to the hotel and looking at Tokyo by night is priceless.

“Nice hotel a little far from the center of the city”

I stayed at this hotel because of an event nearby I was attending. Otherwise, I would not have, because it is a bit far from the more central parts of town. However, there is local transportation (train) right out the door of the hotel, which is convenient. Rooms are spacious and in excellent condition. The decor is not my style, but not offensive either. Avoid breakfast on the first floor. It is a complete zoo. Instead, go up to the 30th floor and enjoy a traditional Japanese breakfast or the western version. Not only without the chaos, but with a great view. The staff on the Japanese side are amazing and welcoming. So why 4/5? First, because of the location and second, because the sleep quality due to the horrible pillows was sub par. I wish they had a barley pillow like in other hotels. Sigh...
