Our stay was pleasant with a comfortable but small room in an excellent location in Ginza. We were able to walk quickly to the train/subway stations which of course gets you everywhere you want to go in Tokyo, and being just moments from the fish market was wonderful. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and well-located if not particularly remarkable or memorable.

This hotel is well located in Ginza for shopping; the Ginza Six mall is right next to it. It is a 20 min taxi ride from Haneda airport and the train station is an easy 15 min walk. This hotel is well located in Ginza for shopping; the Ginza Six mall is right next to it. It is a 20 min taxi ride from Haneda airport and the train station is an easy 15 min walk. Taxis are easy to hail to and from around the hotel and most take credit cards in Tokyo. All in all, the hotel is spotlessly clean, convenient and accessible; the breakfast buffet was very good. There are several good restaurants on the premises. I tried Morry’s upon arrival when everything else was already closed/booked. This is the ramen restaurant and very good; the green, grassy sauce provided on the table in little pots to add flavor to the ramen was excellent! However I found the double twin room for 2 occupants cramped and tight with very little room to open suitcases in the long, narrow configuration. The bathroom was extremely compact and claustrophobic with its low ceilings. The placement of the large shampoo/conditioner/body wash pumps on the side of the narrow tub also resulted in scratches on ones’s arm making me wonder how larger individuals would fare in that set up. It should have best been placed somewhere in front of the bather. The worst experience was water flooding the floor from a special channel on the bathtub. Despite showering at the lowest water pressure, the water is sure to flow into this groove/channel and end up on the floor. I was not aware of this and was greeted with the dismaying sight of the bath mat and my slippers floating around in a centimeter of water after my shower!!💦 🚿I wouldn’t have had an issue if sufficient warning was given to keep the bath mat and slippers out of the way since the water is designed to flow to the floor where a large drain was located! In any case, the hotel staff were very helpful and came with several towels to mop up the mess. Needless to say subsequent showers were done with the bath mat placed on the rack and slippers outside the bathroom floor without incident. As a special note, my sister and her family were in a much better room for 3 occupants. The set up included a sofa bed in a sort of entrance foyer in an L-shaped configuration and a separate toilet and shower. The shower included a glass door around a bathtub, a much better configuration altogether. Something to keep in mind for anyone considering booking this hotel including myself. All in all, I wouldn’t mind rebooking with all the information I have gleaned from my experience! Thank you
