We enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel staff are very nice, friendly, professional in serving guests from hotel reception staff who welcomed us to the staff in club lounge and breakfast area. The reception staff are mixed of nationalities, who can speak Jap, English, mandarin and Cantonese. The first impression is the hotel’s thoughtfulness in its luxurious, elegant design in all the interior decoration design details from matching furnitures, wall deco to the use of lights, and bathroom faucets in their colours, pattern and style. We stayed in executive king room with free breakfast, high tea and happy hour access, Room mini bar is free. We checked in late from Otaru and missed the high tea. Hotel is nice to let us come back again next day to enjoy it. Knowing us celebrating our 20th anniversary, hotel especially decorated the room with towel swans and balloons and some snacks. Both the breakfast and tea are nicely presented and served with high-quality level food. Bathroom amenities are pretty good. The air condition is not cool enough but at least acceptable. Inside hotel activities are mainly a small gym room and spend a good relaxing time at its executive lounge. The only drawback is the location being a bit far from central tourist spots & popular shopping. Not as convenient for walking. The nearby are beer museum and Sapporo factory. Its vibe is a bit quiet and not too hip. But I think the level of this hotel’s quality service compensates and it’s worth the value.

“Excellent Luxury Hotel Option in Sapporo”

While there are a lot of hotels in Sapporo, the number of higher end properties is very limited, and based on our recent three night stay at this hotel, I would put it at the top of the list of full service hotels from which to choose. We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arriving to check in. In particular I appreciated the friendly efficiency of the bell hop who assisted us with our luggage. This reservation was booked through the Amex Fine Hotels program and the clerk checking me in did a great job of clarifying the benefits we would receive and we also appreciated the upgrade to a room on the executive floor. The buffet breakfast was typical for what one would expect in a Japanese hotel and the food and service were of high quality. Our room was spacious and comfortable - in particular the large bathroom. This hotel is decorated in darker and more sumptuous finishings than one usually experiences in Japanese hotels and I appreciated the contrast from other hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Japan. The hotel is located in a quieter area of Sapporo, so if you are planning on spending time in the more bustling parts of the city (such as the Susukino area), be prepared for a longer walk, taking the subway, or relying on short taxi rides. My only gripe is that that the bar adjacent to the lobby closes at 10PM. I wish it stayed open a bit later, so that I could have a night cap after coming back from an evening out. Again, kudos to the excellent staff at this fine property and I hope to return again sometime soon.

“Friendly, super clean, thoughtful hotel”

Really nicely located opposite Sapporo Factory Mall, 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. Staff super friendly and helpful. Good language skills (Chinese, English, Japanese etc). Rooms nice and very clean. Aircon a little weak but staff provided additional cool air blowers. Highly recommend… more
