The onsen on the top floor is a real treat! My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We used the (separated) onsen a couple of times every day and found the experience very relaxing. The relaxation room between the men's and women's onsen provides great views over the city and was never busy during our stay. The buffet breakfast is very nice with lots of selections, including some very tasty local dishes. We were given an upgraded room when we checked in and it was very nice, spacious and with a great view from an upper floor. We were able to easily set the room temperature using the wall control. The bathroom was quite spacious with a great shower. The one thing lacking is space to put luggage, packing cubes with clothes and hanging space for more than just winter coats. There are no small shelves or hooks for these purposes. We were traveling with just one carry-on sized bag each, and a small backpack each and ended up spreading our stuff out on the small couch and side table. There were lots of USB and electrical outlets for recharging phones and laptops. Google maps took us to the "back" door of the hotel, instead of the main entrance which is an easy walk from the train station.

“Very good location”

Very good location, around 10 min walk from the train station that came directly from the airport. Room and beds comfortable and within walking distance to all the attractions. The only bad part is that the room is small, we barely fit into two suitcases in.

Just get out of the right exit, walk straight and you'd see the sign, just look up while walking over so you'd know the right direction. Good location - slightly less than 10mins walk away from Sapporo station. Just get out of the right exit, walk straight and you'd see the sign, just look up while walking over so you'd know the right direction. Within walking distance from clock tower, the park and tv/radio station. About 20mins walk to the shopping street. Service was very good though. Was Abit late for check out but they were so nice about it (about 30mins after check out time) Amenities provided on the reception floor but don't get the toothbrush. It is soooo hard and made my gums bleed. No view from room though I managed to see a bit of the lights off the radio tower.

“Not all Cross Hotels are created equal”

We stayed at Cross Hotel Kyoto and based on that stay, we booked the Sapporo branch. We stayed at Cross Hotel Kyoto and based on that stay, we booked the Sapporo branch. I really really wanted to like this hotel; however, it was a disappointment. our room was too small - compared to the Cross Kyoto. hardly any space to unpack. Not even a desk. Bathroom was just ok. The lobby is not charming or even that comfortable. The breakfast buffet is not as good as Kyoto, just ok - and not always replenished efficiently. We booked the “meet lounge” package which means you have access to a “club floor” concept. The variety or choice of food was a bit “stingy” and the meet lounge is locked until 3pm daily. It’s not worth the extra money and perhaps that was my biggest mistake. The indoor and small outdoor onsen was very good and they had a high number of Dyson hairdryers. In fact, the onsen facilities was the best feature for me. The staff were polite and helpful. The location is half way between Odori park and Sapporo station, with a family mart close by. I apologise, I wish I could say nicer things.
