The hotel has a 4-star rating on certain sites but its basic rooms are less 3-star quality. The staff were friendly and attentive but the cleanliness level wasn’t as great.

“A well-run operation in an excellent location.”

We reserved a room here at the very last moment (when another accommodation fell through), and I made a mistake and only reserved one night, so then made a separate reservation for three more nights. When we checked in and explained this to the desk clerk, he was kind and helpful, finding a way to change it so that we would not have to change rooms. He had to put us in a handicapped-accessible room, but that was okay, and he also included breakfasts, which were very good. The location of this hotel is superb -- very close to Peace Park.

we stayed at the HIROSHIMA ANA good location and easy to park either by bus or by taxi rooms are small very small but like everywhere in JAPAN breakfast was good 2 points to be improved flexibility for dinner time our flight had 4h delay so we arrived at hotel 20 min after dinner closed i called from airport ( 60 min) as we were a large group to see if they can keep it open but itwsa a NO and second point : ENGLISH they really need more english speaking staff

Great location to visit the Peace Memorial Park, A bomb Dome and museum. A truly moving experience. Also fairly good location to travel to Miyajima which is very special. The hotel has two challenges 1. The bedrooms are very dated, we had a superior king sized room and the bed was squashed against the wall on one side. Bedding of good quality and very crisp. The shower is over bath style with a shower curtain. 2. It is a very busy hotel with large groups which makes breakfast pretty hectic. That said the staff were all working very hard. The chefs do a great omelette and there is plenty of choice. One quick fix that would help the long queue for coffee would be a second coffee station. On our second morning (not so busy) the breakfast staff did offer coffee refills at the table and pastries so suspect that the service suffers slightly when the breakfast room is full. We ate a light meal in the bar both nights we stayed, food was pretty good and the staff were doing their best to serve everyone promptly. Concierge was really helpful in organising our luggage to be forwarded - very attentive in checking the details. If rooms had a refurb then rating would be much higher.
