“Awesome location, best beds in Japan. Worst pillows and pillow policy.”

This hotel is located within a five minute walk of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, the subway and is about a 10 minute walk to Canal City. In short, the location does not get much better. This hotel is located within a five minute walk of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, the subway and is about a 10 minute walk to Canal City. In short, the location does not get much better. The beds are the best in Japan. In fact, the beds are better than most of the beds in hotels in America. There is a buffet breakfast which is good, a coin op laundry (and a five minute walk from a 24 hour coin op laundry that does huge loads) and the rooms are spacious for Japanese standards. Bathrooms are spacious for Japanese standards. The only negative is the ridiculously thin pillows which my sister in law called rice cracker pillows. We asked for two more pillows they would only give us one more pillow for our room which is a ridiculously silly policy that they strictly follow. If they were to improve the number and quality of the pillows I would have no hesitation in ranking this hotel as excellent. Still we will be returning but will be bringing our own pillows!

This was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and had supplies in the front desk that I needed during my stay. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. The bed was surprisingly large and the bathroom was average. The only downside is that there isn't an area to store your luggage so I kept mine in a corner as not to obstruct space. The breakfast was pretty decent and there were many options to choose from. There are a lot of local restaurants around and convenience stores.

“Fukuoka trip”

After we checked into the room, we found the carpet was so dirty and not properly vacuumed. So we told the front desk agent Akashi San, he was extremely helpful and took a vacuumed cleaner to our room. Not sure why there was no housekeeping staff during night time, but we deeply appreciated his ass… more

After we checked into the room, we found the carpet was so dirty and not properly vacuumed. So we told the front desk agent Akashi San, he was extremely helpful and took a vacuumed cleaner to our room. Not sure why there was no housekeeping staff during night time, but we deeply appreciated his assistance for doing this out of his job description! Other than this the hotel needs to improve the cleanliness in the room, quite dusty in the room and dirty cups. Also Front desk agent refused to help us to book the table at a restaurant on Friday! Which was really not helpful!
