“Authentic Japanese Inn style 48-min Shinkansen travel from Tokyo”
Very traditional and authentic Japanese Inn. How easy to come here from Tokyo. No need to go to Kyoto or Hakone… just take Shinkansen (bullet train, Kodama) from Tokyo station - arrive at Atami after 48 min. “Fantastic food and superb relaxation”
We had a brilliant stay here. Atami is small and vibrant. The ryokan came at just the right time in our trip. The staff are incredible and our room attendant Runa was so sweet and an absolute star. “Perfect Location, Great Food, Execellent Staff”
This was one of three ryokan that my wife and I stayed at recently in Atami and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in another ryokan that was much more expensive that the Furuya which we enjoyed, but we also very much enjoyed this ryokan and thought the value was better at its price.
