“Excellent location, nothing fancy but comfortable”
While the hotel may look a bit dated, it offers clean and comfortable rooms, within 10 minutes' walk to the train station and the popular shops for souvenirs. “Clean, modern hotel near Aomori Station”

“Small but comfortable room”
Clean and comfortable. Good value, efficient staff but no early check in. Good location for restaurants and station. Rooms are a little small but to be expected in Japan. Restaurant closed during our visit.

“A pleasant stay”
We last stayed here nearly eight years ago, and whilst it hasn't been renovated, it's spotlessly clean and well maintained and we had a pleasant two nights. The location is great - an easy walk anywhere, and staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing to rave about, but an easy stay.

“Passable”
Furniture and decor are dated. Beds and pillows felt rock hard. But it was clean and served its purpose so there's that. It isn't as near to the JR station as I expected. Surprisingly, the hotel staff could barely speak English. Google translate came in handy here.
