I cannot praise this hotel enough. This is a great central location for all the sights in Verona, a very short walk to everywhere that you could want to go. Our room was described as a superior double and it met that description easily. It was large & airy with good air conditioning and was spotless. We had asked for feather free pillows and this was done prior to our arrival (we have stayed at lots of hotels where this has been asked for but found not to be the case on arrival). There was an ironing board in the room but no iron. The staff sorted this instantly. Lots of wardrobe space, a good standard of bedding and towels and all the 'extras' in the bathroom. Ample, comfortable seating. There was a very large TV which could be angled to suit seating or bed, depending on your viewing choice. Also, our room had a multi-point charger, suitable for all plugs from across the world. The only complaint, if you can call it that, more an amusing puzzle, was figuring out the switches for using just the reading light without plunging the room into total darkness or turning every light on or something in between. Breakfast was superb. A great choice with something for all tastes. A special mention for the croissants, some of the best we have ever had.

This is a beauifully furnished and well appointed hotel with service to match. We stayed overnight and spent the following day in Verona. The hotel was more than comfortable and the staff were solicitious and helpful, in particular going to some trouble to arrange transport for our onward travel to Lake Garda. Would certainly stay again.

“Excellent. Couldn't be faulted.”

Superbly located. Everything worked. Had to make a couple of requests (kettle and iron) which were immediately delivered. Comfortable and spacious room. Service and breakfast excellent. Couldn't be faulted. Would stay again and recommend to others without hesitation.

We stayed at Accademia Hotel for 8 nights in May. The hotel is centrally located and very stylish and comfortable. We had booked a superior double room (room 241) which was located on the 2nd floor - the view was disappointing as it faced the wall of the church opposite however not surprising I suppose as it was in the centre of the old town. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space. It had a sofa and table, dressing table, large tv and a Nespresso machine and we asked for a kettle also which was provided. The bathroom was a good size with a large powerful shower. The only thing I would say is that there was strong smell of what appeared to be cigarette smoke on the 2nd floor - it hit us as we walked up the stairs and lingered for the whole of our stay. Not sure where it came from but it was very noticeable. There is a cosy bar on the ground floor and a small roof terrace on the 4th floor with sofa and chairs that leads off the gym. There is no bar up there but you can take your drinks up. There are also welcome drinks set up every day in one of the sitting rooms on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet is extensive. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable, stylish, hotel in a central position. One observation is the main photograph in the listings for this hotel is deceptive. It makes it look like an open aspect at the front when in fact it is very close to the buildings opposite. I have tried to show this in my photographs.
