“Great hotel, great snow, great skiing!”

Our first visit will not be our last! We felt very welcome in this family run hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The cleanliness of the rooms was a high standard, without the unnecessary and wasteful changing of towels every day. The food was excellent and varied; and we particularly enjoyed the evening when local Trentino dishes were served by staff dressed in smart suits, with big smiles and obviously proud of the local fare. Oh, and the skiing was excellent, too! The slopes provided us with a good selection of runs for our standard (intermediate), and it was easy to escape the busier pistes when necessary. There was a good ski-room at the hotel, but we found the ski-lockers at Nollegio by Maestri very useful, making the walk to the slopes from the hotel, and back, more enjoyable.

What a little gem of a hotel this is. We were a medium sized group and even though they were other bigger groups in the hotel, we received excellent service. The food was incredible, lots to choose from every morning with hot and cold food on offer. The evening meal was tremendous, a large buffet to start, followed by 3 other courses. The bedrooms are very spacious, clean with lovely views. The skiing was great too, we were lucky to have fresh snow. Our group was of mixed ability, but there was something for everyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome.

We were a group of 21 and Mike, Betty and the team couldn't have looked after us better. The hotel is warm and welcoming, the food is freshly cooked and (very!) plentiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. Although we didn't have any young children with us, the games room in the basement is a fantastic addition to this hotel, and it means that while it is indeed family-friendly, it is still a great place for adults to relax and enjoy themselves in the evenings after a hard day's skiing. Highly recommended! Re Passo del Tonale - this was my first time skiing in Italy after many years in Austria and France and I couldn't believe what amazing value it is both on the slopes and in the town! Considering it was the end of the season (and there was little or no snow in the valleys), the pistes were really well-maintained and there were plenty of lovely restaurants and bars for lunch and apres.
