“A+ for Hotel Am Stetteneck”
What a lovely hotel! Facilities were great, the food was god, the location is perfectly situated in the heart of town and all the staff is so professional and pleasant and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Whoever is in charge of hiring and training staff has done an amazing job.… more

“Ski trip to Val Gardena”
Excellent stay, superb team, experience, and location. Great for skiing and hiking in the Dolomites. Would highly recommend. The breakfast and dinner were both local and great, I did not go anywhere else during my stay………………………………………..

“Lovely hotel in the heart of Ortisei”
Classy hotel right in the heart of town! The location and service can't be beat. The bar and restaurant are top notch. Free breakfast every morning was delicious. The views from the balcony are amazing. Love this place and would definitely stay here again!

The Am Stetteneck hotel is located at the centre of Ortisei. It is a charming, vintage building with great architecture and character. Rooms are ample and very clean and luminous. Bed was very comfortable. Service is outstanding, particularly in the breakfast and dining area! Food was delicious and with enough variety to never get boring. We particularly appreciated the local food and traditional dishes and wines ( try the Lagrein!). The hotel has made a significant effort towards sustainability and we were provided with bus passes for our stay; as we were travelling by public transportation ( to avoid pollution), this was fantastic. The hotel also offers free honking guides and Georg was a great guide, never in a rush and also providing fantastic hiking itineraries and lunch spots. Last but not least, the pool and saunas were a welcome relief after a hiking day. The one negative thing was leaving! Will come back in a heartbeat!
