The hotel is exactly on the slope- if front of hotel a small teleski but if you go down on the slope is the gondola. The rooms are small for 4 people -double bed and a bunkbed- no space for the table. You have everything that you need in the room. The shop is near same as pharmacy and ski rent. ( be carrefour the opening hours 8-12 and 16-19). If going skiing to Madonna di Campiglio on the way back is a big queue at malghette - waiting time 45 minutes same days.

ALBARE residence is a rustic mountain side complex that was constructed around the 1980's. We had 3 people and exchanged for 2 - ONE BEDROOM units. ALBARE residence is a rustic mountain side complex that was constructed around the 1980's. We had 3 people and exchanged for 2 - ONE BEDROOM units. Although, there were lots of single beds in the units and a murphy double/queen, the bathroom and kitchen were extremely small. Also, they change for kettles, or special appliances a weekly rental. Tough to cook in the old pots, pans and silverware was a mishmash. Cups and Dishes were OK. You have to bring your own sheets our towels, or "RENT THEM" from the reception, which are poor quality, and often need to be switched out as sizes were incorrect that they gave to us. Skiing is a slight hike up the mountain, but there is a short Gondola ride, where you have to go up stairs. There are a few restaurants and small shops, on the side of the mountain. We did do a lot of driving after skiing visiting small towns and local shops through the region. Difficulty in the late night drive up the mountain though, as it takes 15 minutes of winding road to get from the main route up to the complex. There were two EV changing stations on the complex as the rental car was gas and EV.

Budget place to stay in Marilleva 1400. It shares the physical infrastructure of the Hotel Solaria. It was clean, warm, has hot water, fridge, stove, all you need to eat in. Budget place to stay in Marilleva 1400. It shares the physical infrastructure of the Hotel Solaria. It was clean, warm, has hot water, fridge, stove, all you need to eat in. There are bars and restaurants to eat out too. The gondola is at the hotel. If you are in the Albare, you can use the pool/spa etc from Solaria at some cost. Internet is available in one lobby room. There is a small supermarket, decent bar and few gift shops in place, and ski lockers. I would recommend it to all who are looking for a cheap and neat accommodation in this region. Quarters are tight in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom! Our suite had two Murphy beds!! Definitely not luxurious, but efficient! Most of the buildings look from the outside very similar (60s/70s cement). Albare staff was great.
