We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of a bike trip. The decor of the hotel is somewhat dated, but the rooms are very comfortable. We had a superior room with a double bed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very quiet. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. There’s a fabulous bar in the hotel that’s a great place to relax. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Balzano.

“‘Old-school’ in the best possible way”

This is a very good hotel, ‘old-school’ in the best possible way - tablecloths at breakfast, monogrammed crockery, an upholstered bench seat in the lift. It didn’t take half an hour to work how to turn out all the lights in the room, just a single switch beside the bed. Seemingly unlimited proper coffees at breakfast was a sumptuous gesture by modern standards. The hard-working and personable staff understood whichever language you attempted. Vardym on reception took the time to explain the origins of the name Laurin. The expansive and shaded garden was a welcome retreat from the August heat and crowds in Bolzano - it was difficult to leave it when you could have an Italian waiter glide over and deliver a martini. A few invariably well-behaved European children, and the odd pet dog, just added to the charming scene. The history and personality of this hotel and its staff shone through in every detail, and it was a good reminder how bland the chain hotels can be by comparison, even the top ones. This style of family-owned hotel is all too rare. What an asset to Bolzano, I loved it.

“Great place”

We loved the Parkhotel Laurin, The staff was delightful and was so nice to get fans for us when it was a bit warm sadly for us Americans. The breakfast is a 10 out of 10, do not miss it. Rooms are lovely and location is great. Ausgezeichnet! Would stay here again. Danke/Grazie

We recently spent some time at the Park Laurin hotel. Pros: * upon check in we were given a room upgrade without us asking for it. It was a very comfortable room. * the staff throughout the hotel is just excellent. Every interaction we had with them was pleasant. The front desk staff is incredible. * the breakfast brunch was one of the best I've ever seen. * the location of the hotel is excellent in regards to the town. * the parking lot for the hotel is directly across the street from the hotel. Cons: * it is paid parking, which they do specify on their website. I will also note that the parking spaces are very narrow. * the air conditioning in the room isn't very robust. At the lowest setting you will not be sleeping in a chilly room. It was cool enough but just barely. * in the bathroom they do not offer shampoo and conditioner, instead they offer a product that advertises itself as an all in one: body and hair; to me this is kind of gross. I asked a room cleaner about this and she said that was all that they had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
