Second visit, and I am sure it won't be our last. Just the perfect blend of personal and genuine service, gorgeous food and wine, lovely bar, special spa and very very comfortable rooms. Great position for skiing, walking or just relaxing on the terrace and looking at the mountains!

This was our 4th stay at this hotel, and it has exceeded our expectations again. Probably the best hotel in the sella ronda. The staff are fabulous, the concierge/porters are always available with excellent service, the rooms are better than any other hotels in the region, very easy to get on the slopes. the bar staff (max and jack) make the best cocktails with excellent recommendations for aperitif & digestif. The reception staff are fabulous very helpful and friendly, We have stayed in 100s of hotels in the world and nothing comes close to here. The restaurant food is just stunning, especially the deserts. However, the Head Waiter/sommelier in the restaurant is exceptional. He has a perfect way to select just the correct wine for your meal and your tastes, always recommending the best wines for dinner with some exceptional wines very hard to find normally for very reasonable prices. We will be back in 25 with 4 friends, just as soon as we can book it. You have been great again and thanks

The staff was awesome, the food experience was amazing. Off the charts with flavors and presentation. The wine cellar is amazing. The mountains viewing was the best. Colors were fantastic. The skiing was beautiful. Best amount of lifts I’ve experienced. Lots of snow making everywhere. And the best after skiing spa ever. Sauna and steam room and hot tube and jacuzzi and light room and pool and relaxing area and snakes. Also our room was very nice. I’m used to skiing a little higher than offered in the Dolomites. Our week had beautiful conditions. Looking forward to returning soon

“Beautiful location in the Dolomites”

My daughter, wife and I spent 3 nights here. The reception clerks were very helpful and provided a map and information brochure that contained useful tips on hikes that we could do in the nearby area. The setting and 'look' of the hotel are reminiscent of chalets in the Swiss Alps, but it is located in the Dolomites in northern Italy. Our room was 2 doors down the hall from our daughter's. The outside temperature at night got down to the mid or high 50 degrees Fahrenheit; I don't know what the room would feel like in mid-summer when it might not be as cool at night. We had a view of the mountains in the distance. The rooms are not air-conditioned but our room was comfortably cool at night, with the window open. Our daughter reported that her room was a bit warm at night, even with a room fan. The property is about an hour's walk from the nearby town of San Cassiano, Our room was spacious and well-lit. It had 2 separate bathrooms; one had a bathtub, the other room had a shower. It had a large walk-in closet. The one downside to our room was that the shower was very very small -- it was an enclosure like you'd see on a cruise ship. There was barely enough room to move in that enclosure. You're standing in sort of a circular enclosure where the doors meet in the middle. Just like showers I've seen on cruise ships. Very strange given that the bathroom and sleeping area were both sizeable, so I wonder why the shower enclosure was so tiny. As mentioned, all of the front desk staff were most helpful and friendly, answering our questions and pointing us to places where we could hike. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus which I used after coming down from the mountain near San Cassiano. After calling for a ride, the driver appeared in less than 10 minutes. We had breakfast each morning at the hotel. You could order eggs and pancakes off the menu and also enjoy meats, fruit, and cheese at the buffet. We found the wait staff very friendly and accommodating. One day I had lunch at the restaurant -- spaghetti bolognese and a Coke. Perfetto. We had dinner reservations elsewhere, so I can't comment on what the dinners were like. This is a nice hotel in a beautiful valley in the Dolomites.
