Location at the edge of Sant'Agata looking across the Bay of Naples towards Naples and Mt Vesuvious and down to Sorrento. It is rather attractive the hotel has a terrace taking full advantage of the view and on next level down a decent sixed swimming pool surrounded by a terrace with ample sun beds. The Hotel is not modern or flash but it has a lot of charm and elegance and is quite large the ground floor [ reception] has several lounge areas with comfortable seating and the adjoining bar leads out onto the terrace. Breakfast is based on standard buffet format wide choice of cheese meats rolls and cake as well as flavoured water and bowls of fruit. On request they can provide freshly cooked omelettes [ but look for the menu with a photo of the hotel on the front for a full listing. As we booked rather last minute we could not have a room with either sea view or countryside view and balcony. On the third floor under the eaves our room was larger than those on the second floor and the view was across the village. We had a large double bed fridge decent sized wardrobe a large bathroom wc wb bidet bath with shower and a seperate shower cubicle. Due to the alterations and additions over the years you had to take two lifts to reach either the swimming pool or restaurant change over point was floor O reception with the lower floors marked -. But it actually added to the hotels charm. The staff : Fantastic from cleaner to manager always pleasant and smiling could not do enough to help.

We spent five nights at this lovely hotel in the hills above Sorrento. The hotel had free parking across the street and also had a free shuttle service to and from Sorrento. The shuttle ran from early in the morning, leaving the hotel on the hour, and returned on the half hour. The last shuttle was approximately 7:30 p.m. You need to make reservations to ensure there is room at the time you wish to depart and return. It was nice to be able to park our car and not drive for our time there. The hotel is beautiful and situated with the town of Sant Agata right out its back terrace. The views from the pool and outside facilities were stunning. The front desk staff was professional although the manager Renato was helpful, he was a little abrupt when answering questions. This may have been because they were extremely busy as they were sold out. We booked tours through the hotel that were great, with the tour company picking us up and bringing us back to the hotel. The tours were excellent, a good value and we highly recommend. We took one to the Isle of Capri, and another to Amalfi & Positano. We also took a train from Sorrento to Pompeii, although the train ride was super crowded and uncomfortable. Just 45 minutes but seems longer with the masses on the train. Lots of people with luggage and bikes. Next time would book a tour through the hotel. Our room was small and basic, but most importantly clean. The bathroom was nice and had a good shower. The air conditioning worked well. There was a mini bar which we used to keep our water cold. No views from our room, so I would recommend requesting a room with a terrace if possible. Didn't spend much time in the room, however, and they have a nice bar area/terrace with beautiful views that we utilized. Besides the shuttle into Sorrento the best aspect of this hotel was its proximity to Sant Agata. There were so many great restaurants and bars to enjoy after a day of touring. Our favorite restaurant was Da Mimi's, although we enjoyed everyone we went to. Some cute shops and good gelato as well. We also loved Racy Bar and especially enjoyed an espresso martini made with ice cream!! We would love to stay here again for a week and will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and relatives.

“A rustic, Italian, peaceful stay! Would stay again!”

I had a lovely stay here for my first solo trip. The hotel is located in the Sorrento hills meaning it was calmer and more peaceful than staying in the centre of Sorrento which was perfect for me! They have an excellent shuttle service which regularly takes people into Sorrento town and picks you back up again. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and the rooms were rustic, extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. My room didn’t have a sea view but the view from the restaurant and bar were beautiful overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The waiting staff were fantastic and the food was okay. There was a good choice of food at dinner time but wasn’t as good as I assumed Italian food would be and were nothing in comparison to the meals I ate in Sant’Agata and Sorrento. Nevertheless, it was fine. Breakfast was always delicious - particularly the pastries! All in all a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay again.

Totally enjoyed our 7 night stay in this hotel. The staff and Renato, the manager couldn't do even to help guests. Renato went out of his way to help me when my phone wouldnt charge by giving me different chargers and plugs, The restaurant served a very varied breakfast from fruit, yoghurt, fully cooked breakfast to lovely pastries. Excellent service throughout. The hotel has an old world charm which appealed to us. Beds were very comfortable The pool is lovely, plenty of sunbeds and an added surprise of a jaccuzi with the back drop of Mount Versuvius. A shuttle bus can be booked to take you in and out of Sorrento which is approximately 30 mins away. We love this hotel and the lovely town of Sant Agata.
