Where do I start.. there was so many great things I don’t know what to mention first! We arrived in the wee small hours due to a flight delay from Edinburgh and trying to get our hire car. The night porter was a bit grumpy but as we find these sort of things funny and part of the experience it made the start of the holiday. Got to our room and was a bit gutted we didn’t have a balcony but as the holiday wore on it became a blessing as once the windows and shutters were closed it was so quiet. The room was huge with plenty of storage and a massive bathroom. Loved the rainfall shower. The rooms are cleaned everyday by smiley and friendly housekeeping staff. Clean towels and toiletries replaced. I didn’t get the name of our housekeeper she had glasses on and was so friendly we were best pals. The hotel is spotless and love the coloured tiles on each floor. Everywhere is so clean and fresh. Housekeeping is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, continental style with plenty of choice. An array of preserves,jams and chocolate spread, meats and cheeses, cereal, fresh fruits, yoghurt and breads. You can boil your own egg while making a coffee of your choice or getting a freshly squeezed juice. The dining staff keep the foods well stocked and while you breakfast you can admire the breathtaking views either indoors or outdoors. The pool is a bonus and is clean and the area is kept clean throughout the day. Plenty of loungers and seats. The children who were guests had a great time and it was a joy seeing them have loads of fun. There is also a baby pool and a jacuzzi. The hotel can provide beach towels at 2€ for your stay. Parking is organised by the wonderful Salvatorie who runs it like a well oiled machine. We had a slight misunderstanding with parking due to a bit of a language barrier and parked in the neighbours garden. Francesco and Salvatorie sorted it out for us no problem. The bar is lovely at night to sit on the terrace with a drink. The dinners looked lovely but we were only bed and breakfast and we ate at the restaurants at the harbour. Our favourite was Funicular Funiculor, apologies for getting the spelling wrong and booked trip through Tabacci Tony, who is a right character. I believe the hotel can organise trips for you. Where the hotel is situated isn’t for everyone and the hills are steep, but I loved the challenge of those 60 odd stairs and seeing the lovely Italian apartments was a bonus. There were a couple of festivals while we were there and it was a treat to see the whole community come together to celebrate. Would I go back to Piccolo Paradiso?.. in a heartbeat yes.. loved it from start to finish. The staff are lovely and not intrusive and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Thank you everyone for making it fun in the sun for us very pale Scottish people. If I had one thing to change would maybe provide a booklet in the rooms showcasing all the services you provide ie valet parking, hiring beach towels, day trips etc. I know concierge would tell you if asked.

Stayed here for a week during September whilst visiting sorrento for a wedding. It's in a perfect place if you are looking to unwind for the hustle and bustle. If you take the path straight in front of the hotel it will take you down to the docks which has a couple of restaurants and bars! The hotel has a nice pool area and was not busy at all during our stay which was really good. We stayed half board and the food choices were good choice of pasta dish and then a meat and fish dish . The staff in the restaurant were helpful especially Luigi. The room was good just basic with what you would expect to find in a room. Cleaner came round each day to clean the room also. The hotel is around a twenty minute bus journey into sorrento and the bus stops right outside and costs you €1.50 where you then change to take another bus to sorrento (really easy to do) - note that if you come back from sorrento during a late evening you will be looking at paying €65 euros in a taxi...so definitely use the bus as it is right outside and then a ten minute walk on way back from stop. Overall a good place to stay
