“Good location and gorgeous breakfast”
Absolutely amazing breakfast and very good location for sightseeing Siena. Staff was quite friendly and helped us with valuable tips for visiting the city. Rooms are a bit old (historic hotel) but still comfortable in my opinion. Bathroom a bit old, but nothing that will harm your staying.

“Convenient location for Siena sightseeing”
Very cozy hotel, location walking distance to Escalator, the Square, shops/restaurants and most of all the Duomo of Siena, friendly and helpful staff, price is right. And they even serve breakfast. The staff called a taxi for us when it was time to leave. Very nice. Thank you very much!

“Good value, basic accommodations ”
We were visiting Siena for the palio and were looking for a place that had a good price and availability for when we were in town. Hotel Moderno fit the bill and is across the street from the escalator that takes you into town. The walk from the train station is a bit challenging but we managed. … more
We were visiting Siena for the palio and were looking for a place that had a good price and availability for when we were in town. Hotel Moderno fit the bill and is across the street from the escalator that takes you into town. The walk from the train station is a bit challenging but we managed. The staff was friendly and the basic accommodations and smallish room met our needs. The breakfast was outdoors in a nice garden.
