“Perfect stay for visiting Siena”
Honestly the perfect place to stay when visiting Siena. Pool was large and clean with plenty of sun beds, perfect way to spend the day before walking the 10 minutes to the entrance to the city in the afternoon/ evenings. Honestly the perfect place to stay when visiting Siena. Pool was large and clean with plenty of sun beds, perfect way to spend the day before walking the 10 minutes to the entrance to the city in the afternoon/ evenings. So much better to stay slightly out of town, quieter and cooler. I saw some reviews stating once the breakfast food was taken they don’t replenish, but that wasn’t the case, we went at various times and they were always refilling, see pictures. “Great Siena B&&”
The staff were lovely and accommodating. We had issues because we were driving in a no drive zone in the center of town by mistake. They sent a note to the parking police to prevent our getting a ticket. This BNB has a garden where you can eat breakfast with a lovely view of Siena yet it is close … more

They sent a note to the parking police to prevent our getting a ticket. This BNB has a garden where you can eat breakfast with a lovely view of Siena yet it is close to the Piazza Del Campo. Spotlessly, clean, and great value for the money!

Our second time at the Hotel Il Giardino, the first planning our wedding and this time was the night before we went to our wedding venue in August 2022. We booked direct - highly recommend. Free onsite parking too which helps! The hotel is in a fantastic location, less than 1km walk to the piazza del campo. Alice is an absolute diamond and couldn’t do enough for us, our family and friends. Even to the point of booking all our taxis to our wedding venue and welcoming us with a glass of Prosecco, she truly makes the hotel. While we did our civil ceremony at the town hall she made sure everything went smoothly for us and took care of all our belongings. We had a lovely modern room overlooking the pool and city. The pool area is amazing, Tuscany views and the city. Good gym area. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, typical Italian style and very good coffee. The hotel has had renovations in the bathrooms since we last visited which made a huge improvement. We can’t wait to come back, it’s a special place to us now 🥰

“Great location, manager a bit rude.”
The best points, location - close to walls and convenient - Swimming pool was lovely, comfortable sunbeds set in a pretty garden. Breakfast was adequate. The best points, location - close to walls and convenient - Swimming pool was lovely, comfortable sunbeds set in a pretty garden. Breakfast was adequate. Housekeeping poor, no fresh towels for a 5 night stay. What let this hotel down was the manager and some of the staff, whilst helpful on occasion generally quite rude and made you feel as though you were an inconvenience for example we asked to fill our water bottles up from the restaurant one evening and we were told 'couldn't you have done this earlier it would have been easier' all he had to do was unlock a door a few steps from where he was, he was not happy to do this and moaned a lot. There were a few other occasions when his attitude was unfriendly. But overall the pool area and location make this place, maybe he was having a bad time.

Hotel with car parking just out side the city walls. 20 mins walk to the Campo. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. View from the breakfast room to die for over the city. Rooms very pleasant.
