“A great hotel for the cost - in the best location!”
Clean simple rooms, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The receptionist (owner?) was very welcoming and helpful. The Hotel lives up to it's name - it's right in the middle of the pedestrian area of the beautiful medieval city. The shower was, tight, for me - but I'm big. There isn't a lift but a hoist to help with heavy luggage!. Great value.

“Great value in a perfect Siena location”
Value for money in this little hotel is great. The staff was very friendly and communicative. When the hotel saw that I was arriving after reception closed, they sent detailed, clear, and simple instructions on how to retrieve the keys. The room itself was nice, large, and had a balcony. Value for money in this little hotel is great. The staff was very friendly and communicative. When the hotel saw that I was arriving after reception closed, they sent detailed, clear, and simple instructions on how to retrieve the keys. The room itself was nice, large, and had a balcony. The hike up the stairs was worth to see the lovely view of the Siena rooftops. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Siena in the future!

The name is apt! And not only is it central to the heart of Siena, but it's on a quiet street as well. The breakfast is only €5 and includes healthy options, The atmosphere is cozy, especially the reception/café area, and the owner Giorgio is upbeat, conscientious and helpful. I can only relay one drawback: If you have difficulty climbing stairs, there are five flights and no elevator.

We were passing by Siena for one night, so we looked for a central location with not a lot of luxury required. This hotel location is dead in the center. We came in late, so the room key was waiting for us at a lock box. Room is decent, not too small, not luxurious at all, but just what you need, if you are spontaneous young couple who's passing by - comfy bed, clean, cute roof top private balcony facing the street, rose pedals :) easy check-in and check-out with a lovely, smiling service and availability to our needs. And, if you want to see the thinnest bath towels ever made, you should go there :)
