Rooms are cleaned everyday and include all the useful equipment, beds are comfortable, for the 5 euro you can eat breakfast- quite well-prepared buffet. This room was very small with dark wallpaper making it seem even smaller. The matress on the bed was rock hard, which suited us but wouldnt many others. There was a wardrobe, small dresser and mini fridge within the room. Not many places to plug anything in. We choose a room with a private bathroom. Be aware, it is very basic and extremely small, literally having to hold onto the sink so as not to fall whilst going to the shower! Both the bedroom and the bathroom were short of some TLC and updating. The above said and done it was very clean! Our room was cleaned daily and our bedding/towels changed every 2nd day which I think is more than enough. We paid extra for a room with Air Con, which in 34 degrees on heat we felt was needed. The hairdryer in the bathroom was fine and did the job. The location was FABULOUS. For those of you flying into Rome and then getting bus transfers to the Termini (Bus and Train station) all you need to do is walk through the train station to the other side and you are literally a block away. You are about 25min walk from the Collesium but hop on buses are available for tourists and not badly priced compared to places like London. The hotel has free internet which does work in your room so you can post all your pictures on FB before you return haha. For those of you needing to travel light there are a number of small supermarkets around the hotel and one big one in the Termini where toiletries are fairly well priced (similar to UK). The hotel is surrounded by road side restaurants serving fabulous pasta dishes at really good prices and plenty of ice cream shops near by to try! ENJOY.
