“Fantastic hotel”

Great hotel, staff lovely and very helpful, breakfast was fantastic, would thoroughly recommend, great location if you like walking, if not most places were a short taxi ride away,only downside was bar prices, would definitely stay here again though

“Unique, good facilities, helpful staff”

Lovely boutique style hotel in Rome city centre. Whilst is is about 20 mins walk to the main squares (Spanish Steps. Barberini, pantheon) we did find it in walking distance for our full trip. Lovely boutique style hotel in Rome city centre. Whilst is is about 20 mins walk to the main squares (Spanish Steps. Barberini, pantheon) we did find it in walking distance for our full trip. Took around 30 mins to colosseum and we strolled to Vatican via Piazza del Popolo and Castel St Angelo. Hotel room is perhaps smaller than in other countries but the hotel is going for unique style. We found the bathroom a very generous size for this size of hotel, nice to have shower and bath separate. The breakfast was adequate with typical continental selection. The view was panoramic but we found that it was spoiled by the design which meant when seated you were eyeless with metal framework. I didn't personally think that the rooftop view should be a selling point as misleading. It is in a quiet district but easily accessible if you are prepared for short walk or taxi to sites.

We stayed here as part of a Jet2 package and considering how little the overall cost was there was very little to complain about. The positives first, the staff were helpful and friendly and the service was first rate; it's in a great location, the area is really smart and even better we found 3 very good restaurants all within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The nearest metro we used was Barberini which was about 15 minutes away and very handy for getting around the city. There were also some good shops nearby to get water etc. and a good little coffee and snack bar in the same road. Our room was spotlessly clean and was ok, I asked for an extra softer pillow which was provided. The aircon worked fine and surprisingly there was very little noise late at, and not much slamming of doors which you normally get. The negatives are, what is the point of putting a kettle, cups and saucers in the room without providing tea or coffee? The breakfast was a big disappointment, limited choice of hot food and tinned fruit - there were apples, bananas, oranges and kiwi but why not a fresh fruit salad? The coffee which you could request was excellent we had espresso and caffe latte. Overall very good and a pleasant stay but the room and breakfast did not say luxury to us.
