“Great stay and friendly staff”

We stayed 3 nights in a smart room. It was compact but clean and comfortable. It's location is perfect as the Vatican was a 30min walk away and the Colosseum was a 45min walk away. Continental breakfast was abundant and yummy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bartender Federica made delicious drinks and was lovely. Overall a great choice.

The location of the hotel is very good. Walking distance to many attractions. The room was fairly small but quite comfortable and quiet and nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is very good. Walking distance to many attractions. The room was fairly small but quite comfortable and quiet and nicely decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and the bar is a nice place to grab a drink. What really makes this hotel special, however, is it's staff. Each and every employee went out of their way to either help or pass a friendly comment. It will definately be our choice when we return.

We stayed at this hotel in June of 2024 for 3 nights. For the price and walk ability to most major attractions, it is a quality place to stay. It is located right next to Piazza Del Popolo, a 15 minute walk to the Spanish steps, 20 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, 30 to Vatican City, and 40 to the Colosseum. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. There’s a very nice bar with lots of sitting areas and a nice courtyard. There are 2 elevators you must take in the hotel. One to get from the bottom floor to the first floor and then a remaining elevator to travel to the rest of the floors. The second elevator is tiny. You can barely fit 2 people and your suitcases so if you have more than that you need to wait for the elevator to make its trip and come back. We stayed in the classic room. It was decent in size but clean and made up everyday with fresh towels and toiletries. We did have an issue with the room our first night, upon showering I noticed there was a crack in the tub. I wasn’t sure if it was leaking to the downstairs so I called and they immediately sent someone up to check on it. The next day while we were gone they assessed that they would not be able to fix it during our stay, so they moved us to another room a floor up that was a bit smaller but fine enough for our 2 nights left. They sent the bell man up to help us move our stuff. The breakfast is a large assortment of options, including meats, cheeses, cereals, toasts, pastries, eggs, coffee, juice, mimosas, etc. This hotel definitely not 5 star quality where everything is above and beyond but besides our small issue with the tub overall we enjoyed our stay and for the affordability I would return.

When we arrived at the hotel staff friendly, the room originally giving was on the 8th floor, there was 2 lifts changes to get to the 8th floor, put me off straight away having to switch lifts. The first room giving was small but ok we could make do with it until we opened the bathroom door it was so tiny space hardly enough room to move/turn around in it. I wasn't really happy as I had booked this hotel based off good reviews, disappointing the fact it was my husband's special big birthday trip. I went back down to reception and asked if they had a bigger room available with a better bathroom space on a lower floor if possible, the receptions were accommodating and moved us to lower room 204 on the 2nd floor. I was delighted until we arrived it was smaller than the first room, very dull because of small side window it was an joining room probably best suited to fit one person not for two it had one slimline single half wardrobe space with an safe box ,the bathroom was bigger than first room, however I could not go down again and ask to change room again. it was so small no storage my hubby just lived out of his suitcases for the 4 days, it was stuffy room, the air con only worked for two of the days. The righthand side of mattress was lopsided, left side was perfect and comfy, pillows lovely and soft too. Breakfast was good and plenty of options, lovely sun terrace space for breakfast too. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels. Location of hotel was good. Staff really nice. A lovely hotel wish the room was better the fact it was for a special celebration stay. Avoid room 204 to fit two persons.
