“The River Chateau Hotel, Rome”
Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff! Perfect location for the Rome Masters tennis tournament in May. 10 minutes walk to play tennis or watch the world class players in the Italian Open! Near many good restaurants and cafes in the Ponte Milvio area.

This hotel is really nice, staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Continental breakfast only, if you want eggs and bacon then that is extra. It’s not really central to all the attractions but there are good buses that are close by and for a few euros will get you to the city centre in about 20 minutes. From the airport it takes about 30-40 minutes to the hotel.

“My Roman Holiday.”
Pretty as a picture. Set in a quite residential area is this user friendly hotel. Lots of street appeal and that theme is throughout the premises. Friendly, helpful staff. Well appointed modern room. Good breakfast. Only problem is that it is far from the major attractions of Rome. No Metro station… more
Pretty as a picture. Set in a quite residential area is this user friendly hotel. Lots of street appeal and that theme is throughout the premises. Friendly, helpful staff. Well appointed modern room. Good breakfast. Only problem is that it is far from the major attractions of Rome. No Metro station. It is at the end of an irregular bus service. However, it is close to the Olympic Stadium if you want to watch Latzio playing football.

“Good local classic”
Good hotel. Room is clean but old classic style. Old building but everything works well. Morning breakfast is good and high quality coffee service is very nice. You need to use taxis if you want to go rome center but not so far. Nearby supermarket is so good, and there're so many local restaurants.

“OK stay but Would not return ”
Hotel was convenient for us to attend the tennis Italian Open at Fort Italia. It was close enough to walk but neighborhood was very dirty and unkept, full of young adults at night at local bars, however, never felt unsafe walking around. Hotel was convenient for us to attend the tennis Italian Open at Fort Italia. It was close enough to walk but neighborhood was very dirty and unkept, full of young adults at night at local bars, however, never felt unsafe walking around. We had two rooms- one was excellent very spacious and nicely furnished. The other room was in the basement with a terrible smell, ugly view and very tiny. The breakfast was average, nothing special! The customer service was fair. When returning to the states and receiving my credit card statement, it was apparent that I was billed twice for the same charge. I contacted River Chateau and they insisted they did not, therefore, my bank is pursuing the refund. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
