All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…
On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

What a fabulous place, on the doorstep of The Vatican but still easy access to all tourist spots. Fabio and Victor were very friendly, helpful and delightful to chat with. The hotel is spotless and the rooms very comfortable, lovely rooftop terrace to relax on at the end of the day too. The only negative would be the breakfast voucher for the cafe round the corner, the food there is not great, nicer breakfasts could be had elsewhere, although if you have a suite you can make your own breakfast.

Loved this hotel/guest house. Our room was huge with a breakfast area and an enormous bath with deep soaking tub and tiled shower room. We were exhausted in the evenings, and watched TV on a couple of occasions, so the large screen was nice. Walk in closet with safe. Several restaurants and shops nearby, and you can't beat the short distance to St. Peter which was why I chose it. The only two drawbacks were there is a short flight of stairs you have to carry your bags up before you get to an elevator, and no breakfast is served. I knew about the second, but not the first so I hope that helps! All in all a great place to stay. Staff is eager to please and helpful. Would stay here again.

Location: the hotel is located conveniently for the Basilica, which can be viewed from the rooftop terrace. A mere minute outside of Vatican City, I imagine there’s nowhere better to stay if this is the main attraction you intend to visit. The hotel is also located close to the Metro and bus stations, etc. Conveniently there’s a McDonald’s just opposite which is sign-posted from quite far away, meaning you can follow the glow of the golden M back to your hotel should you become lost! There are lots of restaurants and tourist shops in the vicinity and it’s relatively easy to use public transport to get to other major attractions/tourist districts. We walked about 30-45 mins to get to the Trevi Fountain, which even on an evening in early November was a pleasant walk with lots to see on the way. Hotel and Facilities: the hotel was easy to locate, you’re given two options to get into the main entrance on arrival (key code or old school physical key). There’s a winding staircase leading all the way up to the roof terrace but a small lift on the first floor should stairs not be your forte. The communal area decor is very modern and super-clean. The reception is located on the fourth floor and we were welcomed by Fabio who provided us with a wonderfully warm welcome, plenty of information and contact details should he not be available/present in the reception. Fabio then kindly took us to our room (which was upgraded for free) and talked us how to use the facilities. A small touch but really appreciated as the very fancy decor in the bathroom could easily have confused you otherwise! The room itself (314) was immaculate. Modern decor throughout with a bedroom, large comfy bed, plenty of pillows, beautiful large windows to the bedroom, walk in wardrobe, kitchenette (with nespresso machine, fridge and facilities to eat but not cook), hallway and bathroom. The bathroom was exceptional; a large bath, walk-in shower room, four windows (great for applying make up in daylight if that’s your thing!) lots of towels, heated towel rail, large mirror and sink. There were three large mirrors through the apartment. There was air-con in the bedroom which was relatively easy to work but not really required during our stay due to the weather (and my love of sleeping with the windows open). There are a few options with the bedroom windows as there are shutters, nets and floor length curtains. It does get a bit noisy early in the morning with tourists, so if you’re a light sleeper you may want the windows closed though I enjoyed listening to the sound of the birds in the evening! The hotel does not offer food but does offer a reduced price breakfast in conjunction with a local restaurant, which sadly we didn’t get chance to try (we only had two nights in Rome). To summarise this is a well-presented, immaculately kept gem in the heart of Rome and I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay to any friends or family intending to visit the city. Thank you Fabio for your hospitality. My photographs don’t do justice to the apartment. Those showing the Basilica are taken from the rooftop terrace which Fabio welcomed us to utilise during our stay.

“Beautiful all the time”
Sitting around in the square and viewing the plaza and the Basilica at different time of the day gives a different prespective. The crowds moving around and the variation of the tourists is a sight that makes this place move important.
