“LA locanda del manzoni”
Room very clean, staff exalent very helpful and friendly, love this little hotel stayed here many times,close to the metro to get around Rome. And only a 15 minute walk to the Collaseam. Shops and restaurant's close by, staff at this hotel go out of there way to help you,

My daughter and I wanted a weekend away together in Rome to enjoy some mum & daughter time, we booked this hotel after reading the reviews, so happy we stayed here, its a lovely, friendly hotel. We felt safe walking around the area in the evening, looking for a restaurant. Breakfast was included, really nice to have coffee/tea, toast and pastries provided to set us up till lunch. The hotel is very close to the metro, we used this to travel to The Vatican City. We decided to walk from the hotel to the Colosseum, this took us about 20/25 mins then we decided to carry on and walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, this took us about another hour, then we got a taxi back to the hotel. Our room was lovely, with air con, fridge, even a little terrace with table and chairs, a lovely bonus, to enjoy the sunshine.

Stayed at this hotel 3 years in a row, brilliant hotel, small but has everything you need, staff are VERY helpful,lovely and clean,the breakfast is buffet with plenty of choice, close to the metro,,loved our stay there and will be going back again

Really lovely stay at this gem of a hotel. Nice clean modern rooms with a continental breakfast included in the price. Within 15-20 min walk of the colosseum or 5 mins to metro if walking is not your thing. nice restaurants nearby. Only reason not 5 stars for us was the room was cold as the heating… more

Only reason not 5 stars for us was the room was cold as the heating wasn’t working and the walls are thin so you can hear people talking.. I sleep well so not an issue for us - maybe not good for light sleepers. would I stay here again - absolutely! Surprised there are not more reviews on here for this place…

“Great for a short stay in Rome centrale. Walking distance to transit and colosseum.”
Perfectly located. Clean but small rooms and excellent service. Perfect place to stay and explore the city. Comfortable beds and nice free breakfast. There is a lift for your luggage, but you do have to go down a set of stairs to access the front lobby.
