“Good location and hodspitality”

Comfortable hotel, at a good location and excellent buffet breakfast. Service was good, the staff was very helpful. On our last day we had a late flight and we could sit in the public area - which is quite large.

Hotel Galles was a great place for my husband and I to stay on our trip here. It’s very clean and the staff is wonderful. The breakfast is fabulous also. It is nothing too fancy, but as I said, it’s very clean, and the rooms are spacious. It was perfect for our trip.

I did not book this hotel, but I got accommodated here due to the other hotel having maintenance problems. This bothered me so much because this hotel is located 4 blocks away from termini and the one I booked for was on the Main Street. The hotel was ok, we were three people and they gave us a room with two beds downstairs and one king size which was upstairs. The room was ok seems like they have too much stuff in the room that it almost looks like a storage room. The bathroom smelled odd which made the room smell, but we kept the door closed and that helped a lot. There’s a mini fridge and has drinks which were courtesy, did not know this until the last day. We had the breakfast plan and the breakfast was simple, but it was good! The staff at the hotel greeted us all the time and made us feel so welcome! Also the receptionist who worked the afternoon shift was very nice, very professional. The room was very clean!

We actually booked a room through 'Hotel Galles' But when we went to that entrance we were told that because we had booked an 'economy' room we had to use the other entrance, which turned out to be 'Hotel Prince Galles'. We actually booked a room through 'Hotel Galles' But when we went to that entrance we were told that because we had booked an 'economy' room we had to use the other entrance, which turned out to be 'Hotel Prince Galles'. The lady we spoke to at Hotel Galles did call someone from Hotel Prince Galles to help us with our bags and lead us around the block to the 'correct' entrance. After that initial confusion everything was fine, the room was double storey and very spacious, I'd imagine it'd be great for a small family. We only managed to have breakfast on one morning of our stay as it starts at 7am and our tour bookings meant we had to set out prior. However, on the one day we did have breakfast it was delicious and very fresh. The location is fine, it's about a ten minute walk to Rome Termini, and there is a closer station in the opposite direction that also links to Rome Termini. There are a lot of small restaurants along the street as you walk from Rome Termini, and the one we picked at random turned out to be great.

We’ve just stayed here and I have to commend the day staff. They are lovely and can’t do enough for you. However, the night watchman tried to steal 16 euros from us before he would let us out, he refused to call us a taxi and myself and my 17 year old daughter were forced to try and find a taxi on the street at 4:30 in the morning! The rooms had everything we needed. Comfy beds. Loved the quirkiness of the mezzanine floor! Very clean and tidy. Happy until our departure.
