Perfect stay at this lovely hotel. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. It felt like an oversized king. The room was extremely quiet and there were great views of the ancient arch next door from the hotel . The room had every convenience we needed. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and made us excellent transportation arrangements from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the cruise port. Front desk staff were very responsive to our email questions prior to arrival as well. Highly recommend.

“Perfect 40th Birthday Hotel!”
I chose Rome to celebrate my 40th Birthday and when reviewing countless properties I end up on Palazzo Velabro. 34 units. Small, intimate and located perfectly away from the tourist traps. I chose Rome to celebrate my 40th Birthday and when reviewing countless properties I end up on Palazzo Velabro. 34 units. Small, intimate and located perfectly away from the tourist traps. The staff were amazing, helpful and made my stay feel extra special, Food and alcohol selection at the restaurant was perfect and affordable. There is the arch of Janus directly on the side of the hotel which gives it an extra touch. 5-10 min walk to Trastevere, 15 min walk to the coilseum, 20 mins to the pantheon and 45 mins to Vatican City. We did not take a taxi once! The service and hospitality is what made this trip my perfect bday hotel. 10/10 recommendation! Grazie Mille Palazzo Velabro Staff/Management!

“Restful nights and perfect location”
This hotel is awesome!! The location is perfect for walking to many of the sights of Rome. The bed and pillows were great and we had a great two nights of sleep. Our view out the window was so pretty. The front desk was so helpful. We went to the bar just for a drink and that was nice too!

“Great boutique Marriott hotel close to Rome center”
Stayed overnight as we are going on A cruise the next day . Beautiful hotel , nice staff and close to coliseum , river and forum . Its s Marriott hotel if you are looking to either use points or get points . Rooms are large and well equipped. Would stay again

“Be prepared to carry luggage via stairs to reach the hotel”
The hotel car dropped us off by the stairs leading to the hotel - we had to carry our heavy luggages ourselves up the stairs as only way to get to the hotel is via the stairs. The suite we booked was just okay - while spacious and clean, the layout wasn’t most efficient or comfortable and the bathroom was rather small. Breakfast (while extra) exceeded our expectations with amazing pastries. We will stay elsewhere next time in Rome.
