“Terrific stay at My Suites Piazza di Spagna”

Our few nights stay at My Suites Piazza di Spagna was fabulous! We booked 4 out the 5 rooms; all of which open up to small reception desk and a common sitting room that we were free to use. The rooms were well appointed, all with en suite bathrooms. The staff were great. It is a lovely boutique place located on 2nd floor of commercial building that is a short walk to Piazza di Spagna (i.e. "the Spanish Steps) and a number of of great eateries and lovely streets. Jessy whatsapped me in advance to confirm my arrival time and inquire if I needed a car to pick me up from the airport. She went above and beyond and arranged for a car to take us from the cruise port (2 weeks after out stay) to an airport hotel. My friends and I would definitely stay there again if/when we take another trip to Rome. For awareness, the front desk is not staffed overnight - which was not a problem for out group - just something to be aware of in case that is important to them.

Very nice simple place that is clean and comfortable. The location is superb - you are right at the Spanish Steps the minute you step out and surrounded by all the restaurants and shops. The walk to Trevi Fountain and Pantheon is also the perfect area to explore in Rome. What I really wanted to give a huge thank to the hotel is the communication and help from the lady working at the front desk. She was very easy to communicate with via Whatsapp. We arrived very early and the front desk only opens at 9:30 so she suggested a very nice cafe to have some breakfast. She also came in super early to clean up the room so we could check in early - it was so important because we were both exhausted from the flight. So overall we were so happy that we stayed here and would highly recommend to people who just need a nice and convenient place to stay.

After I made the reservation my interactions with hotel employees was flawless and helpful. They made arrangement for my late arrival. They also Arranged a pick up from the airport. I was very happy with the location of this hotel. 3 min walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 min walk to the Trevi Fountain, between 15 to 25 minutes walk to pantheon, colosseums. Villa Borghese ( a very beautiful 200 acre park with a small lake, several museums) is 10 min walk from this hotel. There are two wonderful cafe ( great for breakfast) right next to the hotel and at-least 50 restaurants within 5-6 minutes walk. Hotel employee Jean Luc was friendly, caring and always willing to help. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

It was hot when we were there and the A/C was perfect. The room itself was small for 4 people and only had 1 bathroom though. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The best things about this place are location and price. Considering the super-central location (right by Spanish Steps!) this is really great value for money. The big issue is the extremely poor sound insulation. The place is on the first floor and even though the street is a secondary one and with relatively low traffic, the window is so bad that you can ear all the noises from outside. I've had difficulties sleeping even with earplugs. Plus the walls are so thin that you can hear everything from the other rooms (including steps and people talking). Written comms inside the room and at the reception were written in broken English (good that I speak Italian otherwise I would have found hard to understand what they meant). Customer service was OK but not that excellent as is described in other reviews. The room and bed are OK and the shower is very good. The ventilation in our bathroom was not working meaning there was a bit of unpleasant smell. Overall go there if you are a heavy sleeper and looking for a central location without spending much.
