“Great value and lovely spacious room”
We were welcomed by Michele who was very helpful and so polite and kind. Our room was very large, which was a pleasant surprise. It had a small fridge, nespresso for coffee, and a large bathroom, big windows and very high ceiling. The air con worked really well, and there were extra pillows if needed. It is not a standard hotel, and only has a few rooms, with no 24 hour front desk - similar to how a bed and breakfast operates. Just FYI. For check out Luca helped us find a taxi (the app wasn't working for us), and we had a great chat. Amazing value for the cost and super staff. I highly recommend!

This place is a little gem 😊. The whole booking experience was painless and good communication with Luca. On arrival we were greeted by Luca and he made us feel very welcome. He gave us some hints and tips for getting around and some recommendations for local restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Filtered cold water is also available in the lobby which was a lovely touch. The location is ideal, being a few minutes from the Coliseum and was an excellent base for our trip to Rome. We felt very safe and secure in the accommodation and all staff that we met were friendly and accommodating. Would definately recommend and would happily return in the future

We spent three nights at Mecenate Rooms. We had the deluxe room which was spacious and comfortable and very clean. There was plenty of space for storing our luggage and things. The room was equipped with a small fridge, free water every day, a coffee machine and small breakfast (biscuits and chocolate cream / cookies). In addition, you can get a really nice breakfast for 5 euros through MR in the restaurant across the street. Our host Andrea was very friendly and helpful, always asking if we had everything we needed. A big thank you to him! The location is really excellent - close to all major sights and a park. The area Monti is also very nice. In conclusion, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

“Family friendly and close to colosseum ”
This multiple room apartment has two bedrooms a washer a kitchen and a living area. It sleeps at least six. It was a great experience and a five minute walk to the Colosseum. I highly recommend this place.

“Super friendly, but not quite what we expected.”
We stayed here for a few nights. It was a great location, close to the old Rome and close to public transport. People were polite and friendly and that made it worth it. We stayed here for a few nights. It was a great location, close to the old Rome and close to public transport. People were polite and friendly and that made it worth it. The room was not quite what we expected from the pictures. Some mildew in the bathroom, unpleasant shower, and AC had to work quite hard to keep up. There was a little shared breakfast area which you could get your daily water and breakfast, if you don't mind leaving your room to do that.
