“Excellent hotel experience”

The services and the personnel were outstanding! The most friendly people, nothing was too much, always smiling, extremely polite. I'll return to this hotel without any hesitation; I won't even look for another one.

As other reviewers have mentioned the staff are a key asset here, friendly professional service at all levels, from reception to cleaners to breakfast waiters and even the shuttle bus drivers, all cheerful and helpful which indicates good management, thank you. Our Room was clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen and we liked the period decor! Our only quibble on the fifth floor was thin walls, we heard our neighbour’s alarm on two mornings, a lot earlier than we wanted to wake up and they were annoyingly noisy neighbours, but we assume this will be addressed with the upgraded improvements? Thanks for a comfortable refuge from the hurly burly of doing Rome!

“Ok hotel but could do much better.”

The hotel was ok for price. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast and late day bar was very good. Some good restaurants and cafes were available within a mile. The hotel was ok for price. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast and late day bar was very good. Some good restaurants and cafes were available within a mile. But what stood out to me was the inability of the room to cool sufficiently. Also the bathroom size was fine but the shower was extremely small even by Euro standards. The shower on the cruise ship was actually bigger with a much smaller bathroom. We had to Uber to most locations but we did take 2-3 mile walk to Vatican City. It was hilly and rough in some areas. You may want to consider a better location even if it’s more expensive as ride share costs would be lower. Most Uber rides were in the 25-35 Euro range.
