“Cosy and comfortable ”
Small hotel but very cosy and clean. Rooms just enough for 1-2persons max but I had a balcony which was nice though there is no particular view to enjoy but gives a breathing space. Small hotel but very cosy and clean. Rooms just enough for 1-2persons max but I had a balcony which was nice though there is no particular view to enjoy but gives a breathing space. Staff extremely helpful. I had a minor accident and they went out of their way to assist me even though it had nothing to do with the hotel. It's slightly out of centre. Well connected by train to city centre and taxi.

“satisfied overall”
First the good news. Sisto V is reasonably priced and in the decent part of town. It is extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. First the good news. Sisto V is reasonably priced and in the decent part of town. It is extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower is a little small but had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The breakfast was adequate and the hotel is close to the train station and bus stop. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Now the bad news. The room was very small. we were an adult and 2 teenage boys. Three twin beds were crammed into a very small space leaving little room for luggage or even a chair to sit on. When booking the hotel I was led to believe that it is centrally located and a short walk to many of the sites around Rome. That is not true. It is a bit out of the way. (probably my fault for not verifying its location before booking). Though it is close to the train station and an easy ride into the center of the city the trains were not always running when we wanted to get to or from the sites. As a result we were forced to take taxis which costs anywhere from 20 to 35 euros each way. Overall the experience was fine and I would probably stay there again knowing what I know now.
