The hotel is beautiful and appointed with everything you could possibly need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and appointed with everything you could possibly need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the 9 euro breakfast- it was delicious and was so much more than I expected-- the perfect way to start a long day of sightseeing and TONS of walking :) We came to Roma by train from Vicenza, and the train station is only a 7-ish minute walk from the hotel so it was perfect! AND, there is a subway stop just around the corner from the hotel, so getting around the city was a breeze!

“Solid 3 start hotel in good location and with great breakfast options”
We had a good experience at Hotel Canada. The hotel is close to Termini station so great for getting to and from the Airport (and also getting around Rome). We had a good experience at Hotel Canada. The hotel is close to Termini station so great for getting to and from the Airport (and also getting around Rome). There is also good restaurants nearby and convenience stores too. We stayed in room 112 which was a corner room so there is a bit of noise from the streets (bring earplugs just in case). The room was adequate and beds were comfortable. The breakfast has a wide range of options and pastries and you can order coffee how you like it and they will make it for you in a barista's espresso machine. There is a water dispenser in the lobby area so you can refill your bottle with still or sparkling water for free. They do have a rule where you return your key to the reception desk when you go out (and request it when returning). It's not a huge thing but something to be aware of.

“Fragrance used throughout hotel, otherwise good hotel.”
Very nice room with large bathroom and shower. Clean and comfortable. Only problem is they use FRAGRANCE in the rooms and throughout the hotel and my son was very allergic. Very nice room with large bathroom and shower. Clean and comfortable. Only problem is they use FRAGRANCE in the rooms and throughout the hotel and my son was very allergic. We didn’t catch on until the last night so did not say anything to the hotel staff. Very nice breakfast with hot eggs, lots of bread and fruit and cheeses and fridge juice. No self service coffee. Less than 10 minute walk to Termini with lots of dining options. Even though the Metro was only one block away, it only got us so far and we’d walk the rest of the way to major attractions. Sometimes we used Uber into the city center and then spent the day walking. Next time we will try to find a hotel near the city center. and simply Uber to and from the train station. Booked the Leonardo Express train to and from the airport for 14 euros each way per person- so easy leaves every 30 minutes. Use the Trenitalia app to purchase tickets.

Simple, typical old-fashioned hotel with a personal touch; a quiet bar; clean room; decent price; convenient enough for Termini. Free cold and fizzy water dispenser; nearby restaurants and supermarket; friendly front desk; hot room cooled by opening inner windows
