“Great choice”

Perfect location to walk around the city and to great restaurants nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to help. Nice clean room. Good breakfast. We recommend Hotel Accademia to everyone and would definitely come back when travelling to Rome.

Ideal location a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain and very near a bus stop for major routes to all the attractions. A lovely welcome from the staff Giandomenico who was friendly and funny. Our room on 2nd floor in the rear of the building was huge with 2 double beds and a spacious bathroom. Fridge and kettle with water tea and coffee supplied. Room was clean and obviously recently refurbished with modern decor in a very old building. Room cleaned daily to a high standard. Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing but a choice of breads, pastries, fruit, cheese meat and eggs, hot drinks and fruit juices a welcome start to the day served until 10.30am with plenty of tables available to sit at. We were able to leave our luggage in reception after check out which was helpful. The complimentary sweets, fruit and lemon tea in reception was a nice touch. We had a problem with the plug in our sink which was rectified as soon as we reported it to reception. There was no information available about the Spa which was advertised on the booking site so have no idea if it even exists. The only downside to our visit is the noise of building work going on in the hotel, drilling and hammering loudly near our room before 9am. There was no mention of this on the booking website or in advance or our visit, we were unable to relax on our room as intended for our trip whilst this was going on due to noise levels. There were a couple of notices apologising for the disruption but it would have been good to have a choice whether to book the hotel or not it we had been made aware or the noise levels in advance. The cleaners were hoovering outside our room before 8.30am which was early considering we were on holiday, again this was disappointing and frustrating. We didnt try the restaurant that is in the same building but the staff there trying to entice us to ear or drink there every time we left or arrived at the hotel were very annoying. This hotel is lovely and hopefully when the building work is done there will be no other negatives to report.

“Excellent Location and friendly staff”

Nice hotel with a 2 min walk to Trevi Fountain. The location is excellent with plenty of restaurants, shops etc close by. The breakfast is good with plenty choice of croissants, cereals. We had a room on the 3rd floor which gave us plenty space, the only small issue the window did not close proper… more

Nice hotel with a 2 min walk to Trevi Fountain. The location is excellent with plenty of restaurants, shops etc close by. The breakfast is good with plenty choice of croissants, cereals. We had a room on the 3rd floor which gave us plenty space, the only small issue the window did not close properly, making the street noise very load, however you are in a city so this is to be expected. Staff lovely and friendly would stay again.

“Not standard rooms shown on official booking site”

Great location next to the Trevi fountain Great breakfast Worst thing!!!!!! Standard rooms!!!!! Dreadful, need a good clean and should be re decorated, shabby and small, not what you see on official website, they are the upgrade for another 80 Euro a day, so we did and in my experience these room… more

Dreadful, need a good clean and should be re decorated, shabby and small, not what you see on official website, they are the upgrade for another 80 Euro a day, so we did and in my experience these rooms are what should be standard, couldn't of stayed in the standard!!! So hard to get to through all the corridors and on top of each other
