“Amazing location and front desk staff!”

We spent four nights at the Hotel Grifo and really enjoyed our stay. Alen at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful. He provided so many amazing recommendations and tips & tricks for exploring Rome! The location was perfect and we were walking distance from so many of our itinerary stops. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

“Would stay again”
This was the best experience in Rome. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English. They booked us transportation when needed and gave us good recommendations on things to do and see. Rooms are small like all European rooms but very clean.

“Great place to stay for Rome trip!”
Wonderful gem of a place. If you’re sightseeing in Rome this location is perfect. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful and couldn’t do more for us. Great price and comfortable room. Would highly recommend for a Rome visit.

I picked this hotel due to the great customer service rating on Trip Advisor. We were very impressed with this hotel, I had emailed the hotel prior to our stay to arrange for a driver to pick us up at the airport and it worked out perfectly. The driver was waiting when we landed. I also asked the hotel for a driver to drive us to the cruise port, they looked after organizing this driver also. This is not a free service, but it made my stay with them stress free. I had picked the Double Room in the Annex Building (Boschetto). It is a small room but was perfect since we were out visiting the sites in Rome. The room does have air conditioning and they have a small elevator. They were also helpful with recommendations of visiting the different places in Rome and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay at Hotel Grifo if we visit Rome again.

I stayed in this hotel on 9/17/24 bc it received good review. However it is overrated and the reviews do not truly reflect the real conditions. It is an old building that is converted to a hotel so everything is outdated. I would consider this hotel is a two stars hotel with four stars rate. It mentioned it is within the walking distance to the train station. I suggest that you should think twice before considering this as your choice. Thinking about dragging your luggages through the narrow cobblestone sidewalk for half hour, it is a torture. The only good things about this hotel is its location to the attractions. Beyond that I do not have anything good to say about it.
