“Nice place for sleeping. ”

We were only in Rome for a short time but this was a clean nice place to stay. 10 minutes walk from the train station/metro. They offer a free breakfast but since we were checking out so early in the morning they had a boxed breakfast waiting for us. They were difficult to find at first. You have t… more

“Good for the price and location....”

This is a bit hard to rate, and I wonder why it is 11 months between reviews. This hotel was booked as it was indicated that it may be used by a tour company that we were to join the day after (so looking to have 2 nights not 1. That did not happen and NOT the properties fault). I thank previous re… more

  • Guests at Dipendenza Hotel Galileo say: The hotel is situated at the 3rd floor of a building. For the front desk of the hotel you have to go outside and round the building, to Hotel Galileo, where you can check in and also have breakfast. They will explain you how to use the key and the card for the entrance. The hotel has a small elevator (it only fits 3 people, and a max of 320 kg), but it is really useful. The dining room is situated at the first floor of Hotel Galileo, and it is served between 7 30 and 10 am. You can have different types of coffee or tea, milk, water, orange juice or carrot juice as a drink. As far as the food is concerned, you have different pastries, two or tree types of bread (a toaster), different types of jam, chocolate, honey, boiled eggs, two types of yogurt, 3 types of cereals, some types of ham, some veggies, some fruits and I hope I haven't missed anything. You can serve your breakfast inside or outside on the terrace. The staff is really nice and welcoming. They provide you with all the information you need. I think the front desk is opened 24/7 because in order to enter the hotel you need to show the key to a camera and they shall open the door to you. At the front desk you can find different types of maps of the city that are really useful and show you the main attractions. The cleaning stuff is also really nice. They clean your room daily and it looks really fresh every time. The rooms are perfect for a holiday in Rome. Not too big, nor to small. We had a triple one and it was perfect for the 3 of us and for our luggage (as you can see in the photos). The only 2 things that bothered me were that there wasn't a mirror in the room except the one from the bathroom and the light switchers that are some-what mixed (if you turn off the light somewhere you can turn on the light somewhere else, and I didn't quite get the combinations, but that was ok). The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Termini station and it has plenty of restaurants and bars near by. If you're a wanderer and you like walking by foot you can also get quite fast to some of the main attractions in the city (30 min away from the Borghese Gallery, 30 min away from the Piazza Venezia/Via del Corso, aprox 30-40 min away from the Colosseum and so on). And if you walk through the streets you can discover a lot of the city hidden gems. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Massimo and we think it's a good holiday accommodation spot.
