Great hotel in a good location, just a few stops on the Metro away from the hustle and bustle. Booking in was straight forward and easy with the most friendly lady on reception. On entering the room we were thoroughly pleased with the choice of hotel. It was clean, fairly spacious and with everything we needed. Back down to reception after unpacking and the receptionist suggested some great places to eat locally, especially with us arriving early evening. Each of the receptionists we met were equally welcoming and made sure we had maps and information for our day ahead. All knowledgeable and interested in our experience of the city, offering great suggestions. The hotel was always clean and tidy, aircon was amazing and a safe provided free of charge in the room. Free WiFi with a good connection also free of charge. If returning to Rome I would not hesitate in booking this hotel again and equally would recommend it to friends. We felt this hotel gave us a relaxed base away from the hectic centre and a chance to observe the locals rather than just the tourists in the city. Great authentic local restaurant nearby in an underground grotto, offered a delicious tourist set menu for €25 which was adequate to feed two people comfortably. Also a pizzeria which was frequented by many of the locals, serving up a vast choice of pizza for around €5. On the corner just outside the hotel was a gelato shop, which is also a must! Everywhere we went locally we were welcomed and felt the staff could not do enough for us, as was the case at the hotel. Thank you to all of the staff at the hotel who made us feel so welcome and for looking after us.

The bed isnot so comfortable, but I have slept in worse. Our room was not soo clean upon arrival, but when we told the staff they were very apologetic, room care of it right away, and it was always very clean during the rest of our stay. The staff is really the best: super friendly and helpful, really willing to go above and beyond for any questions you might have. The breakfast buffet is good, though at the same time i kind of wished for a coffee pot in the room. The hotel is within a 10 minute walking distance from the train. (though it is uphill) In all honesty, I loved this little hotel. Its not 5 star, but friendlieness of the staff in combination with the old world charm, definitely makes it a place I would stay at again.

I stayed in this hotel along with my wife and two children from 12th to 16th of October. The location of the hotel is good and away from the daily noises of the city. Rooms are good and clean. However, for the price that they take, rooms seem to me to be small. We stayed in room 102 and 103. Out of these, 103 was bigger with a big and lavish bath room. This place is a little away from the central tourism district of the city, and one would have to take up a bus or a metro train to reach the tourist destinations. Nearest metro station is Garbatella, which is approx. 800 m. away. Bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel. Breakfast is optional, but the spread is not worth of the 7 Euro that they charge per head if you opt for it. They could include a few more items like egg in the breakfast menu. On the last day, we requested to overstay for 2 hours beyond the scheduled check out time of 11 AM, and for this they charged us 10 Euro extra after we stayed for 4 days with them!!!! This was a put off for us.

This hotels best assets is its staff. They are very nice, fun and helpful beyond what is expected. What draws the score down is for instance the breakfast. Coming to Italy, one is counting on having tasty and healthy food. I really hope they will improve pronto, or else; - go somewhere else to eat. Do not drink their black coffee. It is seriously undrinkable. The hotell is in general a little worn, but it has its charm. I loved the terrace, and the fact that there was a refrigerator in the room. The bed was a bit too hard for my body, but I've slept in worse beds. We will be back at the same hotel non the less. The hotel is located in the nice, suburban Roma Tre area, which is a bit far if you want to spend most of your time downtown (I mean the Pantheon-Trevi-Vatican area). We were there because of work, and for us the area was perfect. There are some ok places to eat close to the hotel. I recommend Al Ristoro degli Angeli across the street from Teatro Palladium between the police station and the café. There, I had the best meat I have ever tasted. I hope the owners treat its magnificent staff good, because they really deserve good working terms and to be well paid.
