Great location for Rome Termini, restaurants and easy walking distance to most main attractions one would want to visit while in Rome. Found the rooms clean and comfy, and reception staff very helpful and accommodating. The wifi was only available in the public areas, not rooms, which is slightly misleading on the website.

“Rooms location - good breakfast could have been better”

The location of the hotel is good, rooms are clean and neat but has this very rustic vintage look. The breakfast is very basic, it could have been better,luckily there was one Indian guy who was very kind and helpful.Overall good experience.

The previous reviews and photographs left my wife and me a bit concerned about the Champagne Garden and what to expect. However, we need not have worried. Yes, it could do with some decorating and a handyman would be kept busy and the cleaning staff should probably be reintroduced to their dustesr but it was perfectly acceptable for a four night stay in the center of Rome. Anyone expecting more should consider the idea of paying a bit more and realise that a hotel in Rome is a base of operations not a destination in itself. Its somewhere to sleep, get clean and store your luggage. The reception is small but functional and the reception staff throughout our stay were friendly, approachable and courteous. Our room was tidy and clean, the bed comfortable, if a tad firm for my wife's liking. But she soon got used to it. Extra pillows were provided upon request and blankets were found in the wardrobe. I couldn't get the TV to work but that wasn't an issue as the Wi-Fi was excellent and free. There was a mini bar in the base of the wardrobe and a small room safe. one thing that we did miss was tea/coffee making apparatus but that may be a British thing and I'm not sure where it would have been placed in the room anyway. Our bathroom was small but functional. The complimentary toiletries were good enough and the supply was sufficient. Towels were replenished each day. The water was hot but the shower was a little lacking in force but we have found the same issue in each hotel we have stayed at in Rome...I think its a Roman thing. Breakfast was a buffet served in a downstairs room that was obviously,previously a cellar. There wasn't a massive selection but there was enough to get you started and the ambience was a great way to begin a day of touring the city. The location close to the Termini station is perfect and there are many and varied restaurants and Trattoria and Pizzeria within 5 minutes walk. We ate in Rossi Tiziano just round the corner for three nights. There are also many little supermarkets and shops very close by. We would happily stay here again and we are pleased to recommend it to whomsoever reads this review. Thank you very much to the staff for a lovely stay.
