It’s a good place for the night before you venture on to Rome.

We stayed here one night in a Quad room. Had a private bathroom. We used this facility on our way to Florence/Pisa. We wanted a place outside of Rome after a long day and this place was very peaceful. They recommend a near by restaurant that had great food. They provide breakfast in the AM that was nice - spread of pastry and fruit. The facility is very simple but comfortable, just what we needed after our whirlwind days in Rome to get a restful nights sleep.

I loved this hotel, I was surprised when I realised it was a convent but was completely dis-armed by the friendly helpful manner of the sister behind the reception desk. The room was functional, clean and exactly what we needed at short notice. The hotel is used by scout groups, there was a scout group there at the same time, but we had absolutely no problems what so ever with this group in fact they were really friendly to us. The hotel laid a table for breakfast for us, by mistake we sat at the wrong table and felt guilty, I want to apologies to the sister on duty. I would definitely go back here, really good value for money, great service, quite frankly I have been treated a lot worse in more expensive hotels. Lovely stay. Thank you.

My Roma trip was very much a last minute decision so finding reasonably priced accommodation was always going to be a challenge therefore casa nostra suited me fine. Yes it's a bit of a trip out of Roma but the train which connects you to the Roma metro is just 30 minutes. There is a bus stop outside the gate but I usually chose to walk to the station in the morning. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. Air con and TV were unexpected. I know some folks commented that it was a bit dark etc but let's remember it's a convent and wasn't built with tourists in mind. The sisters were welcoming and helpful. They gave me a card to use for discounts in local restaurants. There are bars and cafes close by and a great pizza/wine bar right across the road. The first train into the city is at 6.09 am so you can still get lots of sightseeing done. I should say this wouled be ideal for families as it's safe and quiet, there are nice grounds which include a play area for kids. Essentially I just wanted a good value, clean, quiet place to sleep after a full day of sightseeing and this fit the bill
