“wonderful hotel in an unbeatable location”
My mom and I spent 4 days at this wonderful hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, the hotel is small and personal with wonderful attention to detail, the ambiance is warm and artsy and the location can't be beat. I recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal touch than a big institutional and sterile hotel. I get the impression that the negative reviews are from people who are not well-traveled in Europe.

Artie Ed very easily from airport and also went easily to airport with bus and train

“A Charming Hotel”
I've just stayed in this hotel for the past 4 nights. The entrance was hard to find after arriving late at night, but when we found the entrance and rang the bell, we received a warm welcome. I've just stayed in this hotel for the past 4 nights. The entrance was hard to find after arriving late at night, but when we found the entrance and rang the bell, we received a warm welcome. The downstairs part of the building that you pass through is a bit rundown but that's no fault to the hotel. The boutique hotel was lovely,"a safe haven" in a busy place. The staff were wonderfully friendly and went above and beyond to cater for our needs. The room was cosy, the breakfast was nice, with plenty of continental options. The water was hot, plenty of fresh towels, and a little mini bar in the bedroom.The location was so central. We had a lovely few days in Hotel Locanda Cairoli. Thank you to all the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome.

“Could do better”
Nice reception area, friendly and helpful staff. But bedrooms, particularly my bathroom very tired and in need of redecorating. Breakfast is pretty average and could be better but coffee good. Great location but for me it’s more three and a half stars than four.
