ASR provided us everyday with coffee pods, soft drinks, water bottles, fruit nectar bottles, and some snack items. Great air conditioned suite, very clean, bath robes and slippers provided. There is a wine bar right downstairs where you can have breakfast or sip a prosecco or cold beer in the afternoon. The Spanish steps are withing 7 min walk. Trevi fountain about 15 min walk, the colosseum straight shot 30 min walk. There's a grocery shop opened 24 hr a block away, self laundromat 2 blocks off. Great location, great place, private, quiet, free wifi. We would go again! Highly recommended!

“Wonderful suite!”
We stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel right near the Spanish Steps. Great area down a quaint narrow street with many restaurants and shopping. Subway stop is also right there. We had a two room suite that was lovely. Would defiantly come back. Staff was excellent!

We, a family of four, are pleased with our five nights stay at Astrid. The one bedroom apartment was just the right size with a separate small kitchen. There were some free drinks, nutella and jams and coffee/tea, that were refilled each day. Only downside is that there were not enough kitchen supplies for four, however we just drank from mugs so it was not a big problem. The location was perfect for us, since there was a 30 minute walk to colosseum and even shorter to the vatican, and to get there we walked along the main shopping street. This way we did not have to dedicate time to shopping, since we could do this whenever we went to or from attractions.

This hotel is at a perfect location. So close by the Spanish Steps and by the Trevi Fountain. Also within walking distance to sites like the Colesseo and the Vatican. When we first arrived we had issues with our first room however, we were assisted by our friendly host Conchi and was able to resolve the matter immediately. The unit itself is very spacious! Had a separate bedroom and a separate kitchenette along with the living room with a pull out bed. This was almost as an apartment and I would highly recommend it for families who are visiting Rome. If you're staying here for an extended period of time and plan on cooking your own meals, there are several grocery shops nearby (Carrefour, etc). Overall staying here was a great experience.

We stayed in Astrid Roma Suites in Spring this year. We chose an apartment instead of a hotel as we were traveling with our baby and wanted to have 2 rooms and a kitchen. The overall impression of the Suites is very good: clean and well furnished apartment, well equipped kitchen (with breakfast items available) and excellent beds! The bathroom was rather new and the staff very helpful! The location is good, close to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish steps, and a subway station (very practical to go to the Vatican). There's lots of small restaurants around so you can wander the streets of the neighborhood and enjoy a good meal or just be part of the Roman life and sit outside with a drink. There's a supermarket close by, this was great as we had lunch and dinner sometimes in our room depending on our baby's naps/ mood etc... Regarding the location, there's a small shuttle bus going down Via Del Corso but it doesn't go often (and it probably doesn't take trolleys) so prepare to walk down to reach Piazza Venezia and other attractions. There are other buses close by, ask the reception and they'll help you. We walked most of the time but in Rome you see something great almost everywhere so I think it's the best way to explore the city. The entrance and the stairs of the hotel are narrow but there is an elevator on the ground floor. I would have otherwise liked to stay in a room with more neutral walls (we got the suite with fuchsia walls) but this is a detail and I got used to it quickly. The windows in the living room and bedroom opened to the street, a busy one! Thankfully we didn't hear anything when closed. All in all: Recommended!
