I used to live around the corner, so I knew this was the location I wanted. This was my first time staying at the hotel, but will be my hotel for all future trips. Excellent location, and the usual good Roman windows to shut out city noise when wanted. Our bathroom was very large and modern, which isn’t always guaranteed at otherwise very nice properties. WiFi was good, rooms were very clean, and all staff was helpful and friendly. No worries with feeling our luggage was stored securely for us to have a few more hours in the city after checkout. I also appreciated the hotel’s accurate online descriptions about elevators not servicing all rooms. It was fine for us, but may be an issue for some travelers, so contact the hotel if you have questions. This is a common issue for hotels in historic buildings, so don’t let it deter you if you can take nice wide steps at your pace. There was a small elevator where the staff sent our suitcases to our room, which would have been tough for me on the stairs with heavy bags. It would fit one or two people, max; also not uncommon in the city center with historic buildings. It was a little more expensive than I expected for off season (January) travel, and compared to similar properties when booking. Will recommend to all friends for future trips!

My wife & I had the opportunity to spend 3 days in Rome but had no first-hand knowledge of where to stay. We reached out to The Argentina hotel and said we'd love to have a view of the Forum (ostensibly where Cesar was killed) and they handled the whole booking for us! They arranged travel to/from FCO Airport and were incredibly helpful for every request. The view from the room (#113) was exactly as hoped and the comfort and cleanliness met all expectations. (My wife thought the bed was a bit too firm but I loved it!) I highly recommend this centrally located hotel! We were able to walk to the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, Trastevere, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps PLUS all manners of shopping and dining. Two of our favorite restaurants were Tonnarello in Trastevere and Guenda near Circus Maximus (the walls date back to 46BC!)

Breakfast was perfect and fresh. Definitely highly recommended.

My only real complaint is that the breakfast could’ve been better. Would recommend!”

Hotel is a few mins. walk from the Pantheon and just a few mins. more to Piazza Narvona so location is excellent. Staff is friendly and competent. Excellent recommendations for restaurants; sent us to best restaurants on our trip to Italy. Clean, good bathroom. Elevator is tiny, but it is there and workable for two people without bags; staff will bring bags to room. Small difficulty with towel warmer working properly, but that is a small thing. Went to breakfast once and it was good. I would recommend this hotel.
