My wife and I stayed here for the first time (on our fifth trip to Rome over the last 20 plus years) for five nights starting Sat., Sept 7 with check-out Thursday Sept. 12. The hotel is easy to access, two blocks from Piazza Bernini and near public transportation and numeorus good restaurants with a variety of price points and also shopping. The hotel is very up to date and clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a very nice roof top bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was one of the best ever, a wide selection of delicious food. The best aspect of this hotel is the staff. They were among the best ever. All the staff from the bellme to the servers and the front desk / reception / conceirge were all incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. They even said specifically they wanted our stay to be extra special. I specifically recognize Roseella and Valeria at the reception though I wish I had the names of all the staff, they really were just above and beyong excellent. We totally recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

“September stay”

Great hotel!! The staff was fantastic and so helpful with any questions we had. The food was good as well. The pool was a little small but a good size for Rome. The rooms were beautiful and the AC worked great. Not far from the Spanish steps and very easy to get around.

Wow what an exceptional welcome we received when we arrived at the hotel. The doorman was friendly and so were the reception staff, actually every staff member we encountered were great. The hotel is in a great location. It is gorgeous inside and so are the rooms. The bed and pillows were so comfy and easy to fall asleep in which normally doesn’t happen when staying in hotels. This one nailed it! A big shout out to the maid service they kept our room immaculate, so thank you to those ladies. The rooftop pool is lovely with great views. We managed to secure sun loungers each time we went up to the pool area, which was a great, especially as the weather was so hot. I will definitely be booking a return trip to this hotel when I next visit Rome. Thanks again to the lovely staff who made our trip one to remember.

“Hotel is lovely overall but avoid concierge desk!”

We were there for 3 nights in August during a tremendous heat wave. The AC worked great, thank goodness!! The rooms are very clean and comfortable with marble bathrooms and good closet space. Beds were comfortable. The front desk staff made check in and out easy and were very friendly. They have a nice breakfast also. Hotel is near Metro, Borghese Gallery and Barberini Palace, but at a distance from ancient sections of town (about a 20-30 minute walk) and Vatican (Metro goes to Colosseum and Vatican, but not many other sites ). One major caveat--avoid the concierge desk. I used their recommendations for dining 3 times (against my own better judgment) and was extremely disappointed with each meal, despite telling her that I eat out at top restaurants in NYC and elsewhere and wanted superior dining experiences only and NON-TOURISTY . I had made my own reservations 2 times at highly recommended restaurants (on tripadvisor and on the michelin list) and she told us to cancel our reservations because we would be much happier with her recommendations. I should have known better--she sent us 2 of the 3 nights to restaurants from the same owner, with identical menus, even printed on same paper and in same font! Kickback maybe? I was furious and told her how disappointed we were! She feigned ignorance that they were the same owner and had identical menus. I intend to write to management about this.
