Turin City Centre

“Excellent”

The room was excellent and very near to train station. Receptionist was excellent. We were guided properly for our plan to visit many places in the city. Would stay here again. Did not try breakfast, so no clue about that. Staffs were very excellent.

Our 5-night stay in Torino was at the Hotel Turin City Centre. It used to be called Holiday Inn and I expect it changed hands at some stage. The hotel itself is a little dated and worn but clean and functional. We booked directly with the hotel itself. Our double room was large and the bathroom was small in comparison. The large bed very comfortable. A fridge was in the room and we asked the staff for a kettle which they kindly provided. Across the road at the train station is a large supermarket and food can be purchased if required. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel. The best part was the proximity to the station and buses but Torino is a walkable city and flat. We enjoyed our stay and this hotel suited our budget.

“Good staff and location. But.. ”

The hotel is in good location next to Porta Nuova Station and lots of bars and restaurants close by. Found the staff at reception very helpful and sorted out a couple of issues I had. The hotel is in good location next to Porta Nuova Station and lots of bars and restaurants close by. Found the staff at reception very helpful and sorted out a couple of issues I had. The rooms are a bit tired and dated and don't function very very. The shower isn't great and the power points wouldn't work with UK plug and Eu adapter and had to get additional adapter from reception. Average hotel in need of refurbishment.

“Really average optimal for short stays.”

We just stayed one night on our short trip to Turin and found this HI ok. Yes, it desperately needs renovation and modernization, but otherwise, everything was ok. We just stayed one night on our short trip to Turin and found this HI ok. Yes, it desperately needs renovation and modernization, but otherwise, everything was ok. Sleeping quality, guys at the reception. For the price that we paid we didn't expect more. Don't stay more than 2 nights and you will be OK. The hotel was almost empty, so minimal staff was present. Again, for the price we paid, it was acceptable.
