The 'informal and relaxed atmosphere that characterizes the hotel lobby with its soft colors and warm lighting is given by the area suitable for relaxing and tasting a drink after a day of work or an excursion to town. As in all Town House breakfast becomes a meeting point represented by the long wooden table where guests can enjoy the fresh items on the buffet leafing through a newspaper and if they want to spend time in conversation.

“What a wonderful experience!”
We stayed for just one night, but what a wonderful experience! The room was big with carefully-chosen furniture, extremely clean. Good-quality breakfast with a delicious pear and chocolate cake. The staff was really nice and helpful.

We actually visited in Jan 2019 for our honeymoon, a week in Turin, in winter. The hotel is interesting, and we had a lovely time: the room was spacious, modern, the bathroom worked and was luxurious, the televison was in a good position and the desk and chairs were all good, and there were even weighing scales which was strange. The room was overlooking a central courtyard with balcony and French doors and all very 19th century and antiquated and very old European - and the lift had a metal clunky gate and marble stairs around it…. a fascinating mix of antique and modern, stylish and fusty - very Italian, reminding me of Venice too. Some reviewers have said neagtive things and they are not wrong to point these out if you are picky: the breakfast table was across the lobby from the buffett, but the staff were amazing and they remembered our preferences for coffee and tea, and the parking is a major faff as you have to get a permit to drive to the hotel, negotiate pedestriansnand park on the pavement, then drive off quickly and park 15 minutes walk away - but that is what many European cities are like now and it was not a faff really if you just knuckle down and plan it properly. The location is perfect for both normal town shopping, evening restaurants, and the museums and attractions of Turin. People said why Turin for your honeymoon it is an industrial city, but once you arrive you will understand - it is unique. The Town House 70 is a quirky hotel, a mix of old and new but the right mix, and sandwhiched into a busy high street, but like any centre of the city hotel they all have weird aspects - we just loved breezing down the marble stairs, saying ciao to the receptionist as we dropped off the heavy room key, and sweeping out through the wide automatic glass doors grabbing an umbrella on the way… and Turin waiting for you. Are we biased because it was our honeymoon - I don’t think so: the staff were exactly right, a little aloof and serious in their going about things, always busy, but as soon as you engage with them and try out some Italian and they were warm, happy, friendly and attentive. The only reason we have not been back is because of the pandemic.

“Door frame fell on me”
The hotel in itself was nice. Price was very good too. Rooms are modern. Breakfast was good. The downside was that the door frame fell on us as we were exiting the room. We reported it. No one called or bothered to apologize. Location was great

“Very good central choice”
I had only a brief overnight stay but the staff were all very welcoming and my room was warm and comfortable - much welcomed after a long journey. It has a most convenient location for shops, restaurants and transport. A reasonable buffet breakfast was included.
