Super amazing experience living at the hotel, was as perfect as it could be. The room was clean and well furnished. Everything was of top quality be it the complimentary breakfast or the room itself. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful and were available 24 hours. They even let me store my luggage for a few hours after check out. Whenever I come to Torino, this is the first choice.

We visited as a family of 3, staying in 2 rooms for a couple of days. We were warmly welcomed and were impressed with the COVID measures in place. The hotel is decorated in an imaginative, individual manner, a world away from chain hotels. Our rooms were spacious and we found the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice, although, as mentioned in earlier reviews, the showers are rather cramped so would not suit those with mobility issues. Breakfast was good-the coffee was great! The location is a bit of a walk from downtown attractions, but near the cinema museum and good cafes and trattoria. The attractions of the hotel-the decor, service and comfortable beds-compensate for the extra distance, and next time we will try the hotel restaurant in the evening which has excellent reviews!

“Excellent service”
Probably the best and most observant service, still being quite informal, yet experienced at a hotel. We stayed multiple times. Rooms are also great though can be slightly noisy during the nights, and also the shower “boxes” are a bit small. But these are small downsides.

I struggled with how to rate this hotel ... really 3.5 would be my star rating because there were things I did enjoy and like quite a bit about it, but it had some drawbacks such that I would not necessarily stay here again and would only recommend with some reservations. First, location. On the positive side it is on a quiet boulevard/corso, which I'm sure is quite pretty in the spring/summer. But it is a good walk (20-25 minutes) to the major attractions such as the Royal Palace of Turin, Egyptian Museum, and a good half hour walk to the Quadrilatero Romano (historical part of town with great restaurants, etc.) So either pack your good walking shoes or expect to use a taxi to get around. I chose to stay here because it did look quaint and different, and as my husband and I are both artists I liked the artistic theme of the hotel. Each room is named after a different Italian artist but I didn't really get how or if that theme carried into the rooms. Our room was fairly standard (ie, small) for a European/Italian hotel and to be honest looked in need of some freshening up. At least a fresh paint job: the walls had a lot of scuff and scrape marks from furniture and no doubt luggage being banged around the tight quarters. The bathroom was more modern but the shower stall INCREDIBLY small and tight. I'm pretty in-shape but I couldn't take a shower without bumping my elbows and knees against the sides repeatedly. I'm not sure if a larger person would be able to use the shower well at all. We also noticed a problem of tiny ants in the room, on the floor and crawling onto/into anything we left on the floor. And being on the first floor, I think right over or near the kitchen? On several mornings the smell of food cooking was QUITE intense and not the most pleasant "wake-up" call. The breakfast buffet itself was ok but not very extensive, and the hot offerings weren't often refilled later in the morning (by 9:30am we were lucky if any pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs were still left). On the positive side, the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was absolutely outstanding - I'd highly recommend dining there. And the staff were very polite, helpful, and spoke excellent English.
