This hotel is perfectly located downtown Turin. For example, the Museo Egizio is like 5 minutes walking distance. The staff is very kind, whether it is at the front desk or the breakfast area (breakfast buffet is perfect by the way). A special thumbs up to the barman (sorry, couldn't catch his name) who, for sure, really knows what he's doing behind his bar! The restaurant Carlo e Camillo is also quite nice, even though ou can find plenty of good (better) restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel is very old, but clean and refreshed. You somehow feel like you're in the late 20's while reading a newspaper in the entrance hall, it's got charm and elegance. It's definitely a good address for a short stay in Turin. The only downside is that single rooms are quite small. Which means that if you're staying only a few nights, that's all right, but for a long vacation, it wouldn't do, at least not for me.

Good location, smart, classy hotel. I had a standard room which was a good size with a comfortable bed as well as a lounge. Airconditioning is intermittent due to government regulations but the windows can open. The bathroom is fine but it’s a shower over the bath which I dislike. However there was good water pressure & plenty of hot water. But nowhere to hang wet clothes. Decor is smart, old world with lots of green & reds. The TV has hundreds of stations but I could only find 4 in English. Wifi is fast & reliable. The buffet breakfast is pretty good with lots of fresh produce. And service is efficient & friendly. There are plenty of restaurants close by and all the main sites are in walking distance. The main train station is about a ten minute walk away.

Fine old hotel with all the modern comforts in a great city centre position. Our good-sized room was terrific with an excellent bathroom. The civilised hotel bar is great for a drink. Only criticisms: when we were there in May, you didn’t have control over the room’s air conditioning. The manager decided it wouldn’t be available until the afternoon, which was a bit high-handed - considering the hotel advertises that it’s air-conditioned without any qualification. Also, €38 a night for parking seemed a bit steep.

Just finished a 3 night stay at the Grand Hotel Sitea, conveniently located within walking distance of all of the major central sites of Turin. Attentive staff, beautiful marble and woodwork, well appointed rooms. The hotel rooms, however, have a MAJOR HVAC issue, with 50+ year old thermostats that control nothing, and an ambient baseline room temperature of 28C/82F. So your only options were 1) to try and sleep in a sauna, or 2) open your window looking out onto the very busy Via Cavour to let cool air in, and be kept awake all night by loud passing cars and the shouts of late night partygoers. 5 stars if this issue could be addressed.
