“Romantic view”
I had an amazing time and Alessio was so helpful and saved us a lot of money using the bus around the area. The rooms were amazing and the view romantic. Thank you for making my birthday so special. The breakfast was amazing and the staff there were so helpful and kind. Claudio nelli

Excellent choice before flight, because Ostia it is a nice city by the beach, with good food (I know, Italian food is always good, right?!), but besides that, it is very relaxing to walk by the beach at the sunset. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in front of the beach. Walking distance from the shops and restaurants, almost in front of the pier. People at the hotel are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent! The room is very good for a couple, looks new, very clean, with air conditioning and mini fridge. They book the shuttle to the airport for us.

“Great Finish to Vacation”
At the end of our Italian road trip we needed a room close (but not too close) to the airport. La Scaletta was a lovely finish to our vacation. The room was spotless, modern, comfortable, quiet and the included breakfast was one of our best on the trip. Parking was easy, right in front of the hotel… more
At the end of our Italian road trip we needed a room close (but not too close) to the airport. La Scaletta was a lovely finish to our vacation. The room was spotless, modern, comfortable, quiet and the included breakfast was one of our best on the trip. Parking was easy, right in front of the hotel. We actually would have liked to stay another day at La Scaletta to really enjoy the beach and the vibe of the town.

This small hotel is very competitively priced was very responsive to our direct on line enquiries and offered easy on line booking. It is perfectly located right on the sea. and the few rooms with balconies are well worth requesting if available. The contemporary rooms are cozy but very comfortable, clean and the showers have plenty of hot water. There are lots of restaurants within steps of the front door. The included breakfast has plenty of delicious options with cappuccino prepared by a very friendly and attentive server. This was the best small hotel we've ever stayed at in Ostia and we would definitely return.

“Great Staff and Value!”
The front desk staff were outstanding - incredibly helpful! The room was clean and nice but I don't like it when you can't control the thermostat. Bathroom was small but nice. Breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying here for a short visit.
