Our stay at the San Silvestro hotel was very pleasant. The double room faced the side street, which is not noisy and the correct size, with everything you need and in good condition. The bathroom with shower with new, spotless white towels. The comfortable bed and high quality sheets. Air conditioning working perfectly, achieving a pleasant temperature, when the heat outside was unbearable. the decoration and cleaning of the common parts correct. Very good breakfast served on a very well decorated terrace, by a super friendly lady. The only thing I didn't like about the single room was that it overlooked a very gray and sad well. A separate mention is how friendly and willing the reception staff is, especially Marco, always attentive to solving and facilitating any questions or inconveniences that may occur. At times in the rooms there was a not very pleasant smell, I think it is a problem of the hot days in the entire area, which is worth highlighting is an unbeatable location in Rome. Definitely with a good quality-price ratio, I would choose it again for my next stay!

Perfectly located, you can go everywhere in the historic center) by foot. Recently renovated, everything seems new and absolutely clean. The rooms are rather small but that is not a problem at all, the space is very cleverly used and you feel comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is just delicious, big variety of quality products. Last but not least a special mention for the great staff of this hotel. Everyone is most kind, joyful and ready to give you any information or help with a smile. We will definitely come back!!

I recently stayed at San Silvestro Hotel in Rome and had a delightful experience. The location is perfect, within walking distance of many attractions. The front desk staff, particularly Marco and Chiara, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms, although small, were clean and comfortable. The hotel's amenities were satisfactory, though additional facilities would be an excellent addition. Overall, San Silvestro Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a conveniently located and welcoming place to stay in Rome.

“Very friendly and helpful reception staff”

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel San Silvestro. The staff were very helpful in trying to resolve issues we had whilst staying. We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel San Silvestro. The staff were very helpful in trying to resolve issues we had whilst staying. We had booked a large room with a bath, but arrived to a small twin room with a shower. The reception staff did all they could to rectify this but were fully booked, but managed to move us on the last evening. We were unable to sleep as there was a loose drain on the main road which is busy and cars were driving over it and keeping us awake with windows open. The room was particularly warm as it was winter in Italy but they kindly put the AC on so we could cool the room down and get a decent night sleep. The beds were comfortable. The rooms clean and modern. Advice: book direct and specify room requirements, we booked via a third party and caused some confusion upon check in as they had set up a twin room based on the booking.com advice. Location is ok for seeing the sights, the city is vast so expect to walk ALOT.
