We had checked out from our accommodation, expecting to travel north but had a medical emergency. It was a Saturday night and we needed a room near the Central Station. Terminus hotel had a room available, and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent checkin and our room was refurbished with all new materials - veru clean and nbo damage. The shower was modern and hot and the bed was very comfortable

We almost changed our hotels just before heading to Naples due to the various comments about the outside area - we are so pleased we kept our reservation. The hotel could not be better situated. The Alibus drops you steps away from the hotel's entrance which is opposite the central station. The Alibus is the easiest and cheapest way to get to central Naples, EUR5 each and very frequent. The hotel was perfect! Usually we can find something to complain about - air con/noise/lifts etc; but no, there was nothing we could fault. We were initially concerned about the noise level from the station area but once the windows were closed; you couldn't hear a thing.... mind you, being on the 6th floor may have helped. The aircon worked superbly; the housekeeping very efficient; buffet breakfast very good and reception very friendly. We took the train to Pompeii one day and Rome the next - the location is perfect for getting out and about. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit Naples.

We stayed in Star Hotel Terminus for one night after a long train ride. It was conveniently just across the street Napoli Centrale Station. There were many restaurants nearby and a grocery store across the street at the station. The room itself was spacious, as was the bathroom. However, the toilet paper holder was ridiculously close to the toilet. The bed was nice and big. There was a small fridge stuffed with mini bar items. There was a built in platform for one suitcase in the closet. However, our second suitcase needed to take up a chair. The air conditioning (that was advertised) did not function. Fortunately the windows could open to help cool down the room. The was only one plug at each nightstand. The shower controls were a bit stiff. The internet speed was good. In general, I would recommend this hotel (unless for very hot days).

“Beware of the loud, inconsiderate housekeeping staff unless you want an early start”

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Location - directly opposite Centrale station - was what I wanted. Room had a balcony with a view of Vesuvius and over the noisy streets of Central Naples - noisy even in the middle of the night. Don’t worry about the noise outside because the windows take care of that. That’s the very least of your problems. You see, this hotel has the noisiest housekeeping staff in the world…no contest. They were making a racket, talking loudly from before 8:00am and their caterwauling woke me from the soundest sleep. Not acceptable; a kick up the arse from management is advised. Here’s advice: if you find your room is opposite or adjacent to a door marked “Staff Only” (see picture) DEMAND to be moved.
