Great hotel with helpful staff. Happy to help with queries (advice on transport, water, directions etc). ROOM Room was a good size, clean, had a mini fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Decent sized tv with a variety of channels. Housekeeping every day which was fantastic. There is room service if you want food in your room, or you can eat in the restaurant downstairs. BREAKFAST Good offering. Pastries, eggs & bacon, breads, fruit and tea/coffee and juices/water. Plenty of seating space. The staff serve the food to you. Good portions. LOCATION Upon arriving in Naples we walked from Napoli Centrale which was too long. Once we arrived at the hotel, upon advice of the receptionist, we realised it’s better to travel to Naples Gianturco Station which is only a 9 minute walk away and easy to get to. There is an evening shuttle service to/from the city centre from the hotel which is free. You just need to book slightly in advance. Receptionists are happy to help book taxis too. There is a supermarket 10 minutes walk away too. Overall we would recommend this hotel, it’s lovely and had everything we needed for our stay.

The hotel itself is lovely clean and spacious room. We were able to get ice in the evening which was handy. It was really handy to have a shuttle (not Sundays) in the evening to get into town and back for free. Breakfast was also great selection mostly continental but the croissants were great and full sized. Also loved getting a lil bowl of fruit. Location less desirable and probably what lets this hotel down. It’s in an industrial area which does not appear the safest. Once we worked out where we got the metro from it wasn’t too bad as we could go straight out. The hotel has a handy map of the area and transport which would be useful to get prior to arrival. To get to the hotel you can get a metro from the center of Naples. Can’t recall which line. Good for price and hotel itself

To start with all the positives, I have to say the hotel was clean, comfortable, and handy for travelling to various locations around Naples - Pompeii, Vesuvius etc. Breakfast was great, and was basically an 'all-you-can-eat' buffet affair, although the staff actually served you from behind the counter, which is something I haven't encountered before. My only gripe concerns service at the hotel bar, which was so random as to be practically non-existent. One evening I actually waited almost 30 minutes to be served. The staff could see me waiting, but brushed past me several times as though I was invisible. And having a 'large draught beer' served up in a red wine glass didn't cut it, either. So, 8 out of 10 for everything else, but bar service was definitely a 3 out of 10 for me.

The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. The bedroom on the first floor was clean with good air conditioning. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not a buffet and you had to keep going over to ask staff to give you the items which made me uncomfortable. Would have been nice to see more fresh fruit/yogurt also on display. The breakfast food was good. The hotel is in a run down industrial area and doesn't feel safe. (In fact majority of Naples is run down and dirty which is disappointing). The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to Line 2 Gianturco which is convenient and you can visit the Old Town and Beaches and can get a train from Garibaldi to Sorrento (about 1 hour and 10 minutes). The hotel itself is good. The room was cool and clean.
